Bel Aire asks drivers to respect construction zones
Major roadways in Bel Aire have seen a fair amount of work in the last year. Rock Road, 53rd and 37th have seen some recent repairs and are still in the process of completion. While finishing the work, crews have had lanes of sections of road blocked off but not all residents have complied with the rules.

Bel Aire council unsupportive of taser use
Atteberry explained that the department's current tasers are no longer under warranty and that the provider, Axon, no longer repairs that model. The police department has more than enough money budgeted to make the purchase  but was able to make a deal with Axon that would save about $1,890. Atteberry has the authority to make the purchase; however, in order to enter into the new deal that would save the department a little money he needed approval from the council.
