Hornet comeback falls short at Central
Valley 9-1 after splitting road league games

Hornet tennis ties for first, goes first, second at quads
The Hornets tied for first April 18 at Buhler and participated in back-to-back quads, winning April 13 at Circle and finishing second April 12 at Campus.

Hornets drop two league games on the road
After having last Friday night off, the Valley Center High School baseball team traveled to Andover Central for a league doubleheader April 18. The Hornets played well at times, but not often enough or long enough. Valley lost twice, 5-2 and 12-2, falling to 1-5 overall and in league play.

Valley victorious in two road games
The Hornets got a four-day break until they had to go back on the road to play Winfield on April 17 and Eisenhower the day after. Valley's record is 5-1-1, and has been scored on just twice this season.

Valley Center Middle School track team stays busy
The Hornets competed at a quad in Augusta and at meets at Andover Central, Wellington and home.
