April 7 — Officer Todd Langford took a report of a non-injury accident on private property in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive.

April 7 — Officers Todd Langford and Christopher Shields, along with Sedgwick County sheriff, responded to the 6400 block of North West Parkview. They tried to assist Cheney police by locating a possible calling party regarding a domestic violence disturbance. They were unable to locate the person.  

April 7 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford, along with Valley Center police, responded to the 600 block of East Sprucewood Court where two suspicious people ran from this address and left in a vehicle. They were unable to locate the suspects.

April 7 — Officer Cody McCall and Sgt. Brandon Green stopped a motorist for a vehicle equipment violation in the 6100 block of North I-135. They arrested the driver, Michelle Reese, on a charge of possession of an illegal narcotic. They also arrested a passenger, Jarrett Wiley, for a Wichita warrant.

April 7 — Sgt. Brandon Green responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive where a female reported being struck by her boyfriend. She said it occurred somewhere north of Newton while they were in a vehicle together. Officers were unable to contact the suspect.

April 6 — Officers Luke Tibbits and Edwyn Diaz checked southbound I-135 for a vehicle involved in a disturbance. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

April 6 — Officer Luke Tibbits assisted Valley Center police with a welfare check in the 1400 block of Frontenac.

April 6 — Officer Luke Tibbits assisted Merriam police with a follow up from the station.

April 6 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 2700 block of East Fairchild. It was false.

April 6 — Officer Todd Langford took a larceny report from a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

April 6 — Officer Todd Langford responded to assist Valley Center police with an injury accident in the 11300 block of North 39th West. He was disregarded upon arrival.

April 6 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a calling party on the phone. The man said his former girlfriend failed to bring their child for custody exchange per a court order. Officer said he would document the incident.

April 6 — Officer Todd Langford followed up in the 6400 block of North Wendell.

April 6 — Officer Todd Langford assisted Valley Center police with a domestic violence call in the 7100 block of North Clarence.

April 6 — Officer Cody McCall assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a domestic violence call in the 11600 block of North Broadway.

April 6 — Officer Cody McCall and Sgt. Brandon Green responded to an alarm in the 6200 block of North Broadway. It was false.

April 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a business in the 6000 block of North Broadway where a man caused a disturbance and disrupted its operations. While being told to leave, the man threatened bodily harm. The business wanted the man trespassed.

April 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to 61st North and I-135 where a traffic light was not working. He notified public works.

April 5 — Officer Luke Tibbits followed up at the station on different incidents and voicemails.

April 5 — Officer Luke Tibbits responded to a report of a person bitten by a dog in a parked vehicle in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

April 5 — Officer Luke Tibbits spoke with a resident about being parked in a fire lane in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The resident moved the vehicle.

April 5 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Luke Tibbits responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive for a man making suicidal statements on Facebook. The man said he had no intentions of hurting himself or others. He was upset that officers contacted him.

April 5 — Officer Todd Langford responded to a runaway in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The juvenile was with her mother at the mother's place of employment. Everything was OK.

April 5 — Officer Shane Alexander confirmed a warrant for Russell Ratzloff, who was arrested by Wichita police for the warrant.

April 5 — Officer Todd Langford responded to a burglary in the 7400 block of North Hillside.

April 5 — Officers Shane Alexander and Blake Sanchez took a report of an auto theft in the 6000 block of North Hattan Drive.

April 5 — Offices Shane Alexander, Blake Sanchez and Todd Langford responded to the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. Two kids with suspicious items were reportedly digging a hole on a path near the park spillway. Officers did not find any kids in the area.

April 4 — Officer Luke Tibbits stickered a vehicle on the southbound I-135 off-ramp to 85th North.

April 4 — Officer Todd Langford responded to the 1400 block of East Frontenac Drive where the calling party reported verbal abuse between adult family members. He found no evidence of a crime.  

April 4 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a woman in the 6000 block of North East Parkview. She reported an unknown male contacting her by telephone. She was worried about him possibly stalking her and requested extra patrols.

April 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff checked a residence with an open door in the 1200 block of East Denver. The homeowner was contacted, and the house was secured.

April 3 — Officer Luke Tibbits and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an alarm in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. It was false.

April 3 — Officer Luke Tibbits and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a report of teenagers walking around and having kicked over a mailbox in the 6400 block of North Hydraulic. Officers were unable to locate any teenagers who matched the description. Officers advised the calling party, who said he would call if he saw them again.

April 3 — Officers Shane Alexander and Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Brandon Green assisted Sedgwick County sheriff and Wichita police with a possible burglary in-progress in the 5400 block of North Meridian.

April 2 — Officers Edwyn Diaz, Luke Tibbits and Todd Langford and Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an assault in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A female victim was transported by EMS to a hospital. Officers conducted interviews and executed a search warrant. More follow up will occur.

April 2 — Lt. Hobert Capps, Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Shane Alexander and Blake Sanchez coordinated with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to locate and arrest Chaelyn Aaron on a charge of theft of firearms from Atwoods March 28.

April 2 — Officer Cody McCall confirmed a warrant for Javier W. Estrada, who was arrested by Wichita police for the warrant.

April 2 — Officer Cody McCall responded to the 1700 block of East 61st North to see if the calling party's daughter was still at work. He did not find her there. When he contacted the calling party, she advised the daughter came home while he was on the scene.

April 2 — Officers Cody McCall and Todd Langford responded to an attempted suicide in the 6400 block of North Ulysses. EMS transported the female to a hospital.

April 2 — Officers Shane Alexander and Blake Sanchez picked up evidence for a case from the 1500 block of South Clifton, Wichita.

April 2 — Officer Cody McCall, Blake Sanchez and Shane Alexander stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 9000 block of North I-135. They arrested Courtney Norell Childres on a charge of DUI.
