 SHARON HILL Last Updated: April 12, 2018 Sharon Lee Hill, 80, died April 7, 2018. She was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Wichita to Helen (Duncan) and Carl Bensch. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Church of the Magdalen and Boeing. She was a long-time member of the Church Guild and a Girl Scout leader at Magdalen School. She married Joseph Charles Hill Sept. 17, 1955, in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, niece Becky Garnett and nephew Steve Trimble. Survivors include daughters Mona Hill of Wichita and Teresa (Bill) Colvin of Overland Park, brother Larry (Arline) Bensch of Lawrence, sisters Judy Garnett of Halstead and Tony (Wayne) Trimble of Valley Center, and grandchildren Caroline (Matt) Carrai, Aubrey Colvin and Hailey Colvin. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. with funeral Mass at 11, both April 12 at Church of the Magdalen, Wichita. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge. |
