Lewis L. "Buck" Perry, 88, retired Buck Perry Body Shop owner, died Aug. 9, 2015.

He was born in rural Valley Center to Lewis Lyle Perry Sr. and Helen Marie (Gardner) Perry. He attended Valley Center schools through high school and then entered into the U.S. Army, serving two terms from 1945 to 1950.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jean Perry; children Boyd Perry and wife Terry, and Michelle Scheu; grandchildren Katie Perry, Neil Perry and wife Brandy, Eric Perry, Aaron Davis and Emily Davis; great-grandchildren Aiden Perry, Lillian Perry and Zoey Perry; sister Donna Schuessler; brothers-in-law Vernon Little and wife Janet, and Stacy Little and wife Julie; and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife Una May Perry, parents Lewis and Helen Perry, infant brother Lloyd Allen Perry, and brothers-in-law Jim Schuessler and Marvin Appling.

Visitation was to be 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside Service will be 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Memorials may be designated to the Robert J. Dole Veteran's Hospital Volunteer Services, 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas 67218. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is handling arrangements.
