Aug. 6 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 4800 clock of North Heritage Court. Everything was fine. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 6 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a miscellaneous report in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party reported two known people possibly attempting to buy a vehicle in her brother's name.

Aug. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked residence in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The calling party reported someone breaking into her residence. The caller was referred to Valley Center police.

Aug. 6 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious character call in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. Two juveniles reportedly kicked over trash cans. The juveniles were located and asked to pick up the trash cans.

Aug. 6 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 300 block of East 49th North. An employee on the scene was contacted and the alarm deemed false.

Aug. 6 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring contacted a citizen in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. The citizen was packing fishing equipment in his truck and getting ready to leave because the park was closed.

Aug. 6 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a larceny report in the 500 block of 63rd North. The calling party reported someone getting into her vehicle and taking property.

Aug. 6 — Officer Levi Herring responded to an at-large animal call in the 6500 block of North Wendell. The officer was unable to locate the dog.

Aug. 6 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Sedgwick County Fire Department in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. Officer conducted traffic control.

Aug. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Kansas Highway Patrol with a non-injury slideoff accident at 61st North and I-135.

Aug. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell conducted a follow-up on a prior case in the 6000 block of North East Parkview. Property was returned to the owner.

Aug. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a reported larceny in the 6200 block of North Broadway. He conducted a follow-up on a prior case.

Aug. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a non-injury accident in the 6400 block of North Hydraulic. A driver reported getting stuck in the ditch while backing out of a driveway. There were no damages, no injuries and no report requested.

Aug. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Det. Dwight Wilkes responded to the 1300 block of East Frontenac on a miscellaneous call. The officers arrested Nathan Tuttle on charges of distribution of a controlled substance and distribution with a communication device.

Aug. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a miscellaneous service call in the 200 block of East 53rd North. The calling party had questions about property, evictions and landlords. Questions were answered.

Aug. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz processed a parking violation in the 1500 block of East Prairie Hill. The calling party reported an inoperable car in the area. The vehicle was located and owners advised the vehicle would be moved soon.

Aug. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted a citizen with a ride in the 1800 block of East Ventnor.

Aug. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a miscellaneous report in the 6300 block of North East Parkview. The caller reported that his wife left the house abruptly. The wife was located and found to be doing fine.

Aug. 5 — Officer Brandon Green found a stickered vehicle on side of the road in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The vehicle was impounded.

Aug. 5 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a miscellaneous report in the 6300 block of North Chisholm Pointe. The calling party reported an unknown person trying her door handle and then leaving.

Aug. 5 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag performed a business check in the 7300 block of North Wild West Drive. Officers checked an open door and later secured it.

Aug. 5 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a miscellaneous report in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party reported not being able to seep because this neighbor's dog was outside barking.

Aug. 5 — Officer Duane Schrag and Andrew Corlis responded to a report of a wrong-way driver in the area of 61st North and I-135. The vehicle was northbound in the southbound lanes. The vehicle was not located.

Aug. 5 — Officers Duane Schrag and Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist at 61st North and Broadway with a flat tire. The motorist was later given a ride to Wichita.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell made contact with a citizen in the 900 block of East 61st North about a larceny from a vehicle. The woman advised her backpack was taken out of her vehicle overnight. She advised that this was the second time this has occurred and did not wish to file a report at this time.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Det. Dwight Wilkes interviewed a suspect in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. During the interview, a suspect asked Wilkes to shoot her. The suspect was transported by EMS to Good Shepherd for a self-commitment psychological examination.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny report in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The victim reported an unknown white male in an unknown year white Ford F-250, with no tailgate, cutting the battery cables and taking the battery from his delivery truck while he was inside making a delivery. Loss and damage were estimated at $400.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 2400 block of East Fairchild. A citizen reported finding a Visa debit gift card in the street about a week prior. The card was submitted to property and evidence.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an alarm in the 4700 block of North Steeds Crossing. He made contact with a subject at the residence. The subject advised that the homeowner had changed the alarm code and that he did not know the new code. He was getting a text of the new code from the homeowner. Officer contacted the homeowner and she confirmed it was OK for the subject to be at the residence. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a miscellaneous call in the 6000 block of North East Parkview. The victim reported a known male suspect dumping a newspaper in his front yard and moving a flowerpot around next to this residence around 3 a.m. The victim had video of the possible suspect. The video was copied and submitted to property and evidence.

Aug. 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a miscellaneous report in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A woman reported her ex-husband came to her house and took their vehicle to his house.

Aug. 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A woman reported that she had contact with her ex-husband at the house on Aug. 3. Further follow-up will be required to see if there was a violation of a no-contact order.

Aug. 4 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall performed a follow-up in the 1600 block of East Beaumont. Suspect was served with uniform criminal complaint in reference to prior cases.

Aug. 4 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a larceny call in the 6200 block of North Broadway. An employee reported an unknown white male attempting to take a battery from the premises. The suspect was gone prior to arrival.

Aug. 4 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an assault call in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. The victim reported a known suspect getting in his face and threatening to beat him up.

Aug. 4 — Officer Brandon Green responded to an alarm in the 6000 block of North Hattan Drive. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Valley Center police in the 400 block of North Dexter with a suspicious character. No one was located.

Aug. 4 — Officers responded to an assault call in the 500 block of East 61st North. Two juvenile females were involved in a mutual fight. Both were under 18 years old and released to their parents.

Aug. 4 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag responded to an alarm in the 900 block of East Connolly. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 4 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag responded to an alarm in the 5800 block of North Prospect. Officers made contact with an employee. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 4 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Valley Center police with traffic control in the intersection of Main and Meridian when the road was flooded by water.

Aug. 4 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a motorist in the vicinity of a previous assignment. The officer located a stalled vehicle in the road, provided a jumpstart and removed the vehicle from the road.

Aug. 3 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Dustin Belton assisted EMS on a non-injury accident.

Aug. 3 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to larceny reported in the 1600 block of East Denver. The victim reported catching a known juvenile attempting to take an ashtray on a table near her house.

Aug. 3 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6000 block of East Parkview. The victim reported an unknown male dumping trash in his front yard around 4 a.m. A video was submitted as evidence.

Aug. 3 — Officer Christopher Shields, Lt. Hobert Capps and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a miscellaneous report in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. Westar reported a disturbance with a resident regarding access to the backyard to shut the power off and a large dog being in the yard. The dog was put away and Westar was able to complete its work.

Aug. 3 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to 53rd North and Broadway to a report by a citizen that a silver Ford F-150 was westbound on 53rd North at a high rate of speed. The officer was unable to locate the truck.

Aug. 3 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police  with a lost juvenile in the 200 block of North Meridian. The juvenile was located inside the house.

Aug. 3 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded to a miscellaneous report to check the welfare of a juvenile female. Her father transported her to ComCare.

Aug. 3 — Officer Levi Herring performed a traffic stop in the 5300 block of North I-135. Jacqueline A. Pryor was arrested on a charge of DUI.

Aug. 3 — Officer Levi Herring removed several parts of a tire from the road in the 4500 block of North I-135.

Aug. 2 — Officers Edwyn Diaz performed a miscellaneous service call in the 6400 block of North East Parkview.  Officer served municipal court subpoenas.

Aug. 2 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a vandalism report in the 6400 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party reported that someone entered her residence and damaged a door.

Aug. 2 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a miscellaneous report in the 6500 block of North West Parkview.  Officers arrested Cary Severson on a Wichita warrant.

Aug. 2 — Officer Dustin Belton performed a follow-up on a prior case at the police station.

Aug. 2 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist in the 7700 block of North I-135. The motorist was on the side of the road.

Aug. 2 — Officer Christopher Shields and a sheriff's deputy performed a business check in the 7300 block of North Wild West Drive.  They checked a building and didn't find any new damage.

Aug. 2 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist in the 1700 block of East 69th North.  The motorist had help on the way because the car would not start.

Aug. 2 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded on a miscellaneous call in the 6000 block of North East Parkview.  The calling party reported someone dumped trash in his yard.

Aug. 2 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted a motorist in the 5400 block of North I-135. The motorist's car had died.

Aug. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a miscellaneous call in the 900 block of East 61st North. Officer assisted a citizen who was trying to locate a family member's house.

Aug. 2 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis responded to a miscellaneous report in the 1400 block of East Ashford. An individual called with questions regarding child custody issues and parental rights.

Aug. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a larceny report in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The calling party reported being charged more than he should have while at a business.

Aug. 2 — Officer Christopher Shields was flagged down by a motorist in the 900 block of East 61st North.  The motorist said she was followed on the turnpike by a van.  When she stopped on the side of the highway, a male approached her window. The motorist told the male to go away and she drove off. No report was wanted.

Aug. 2 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County EMS in the 10000 block of North Hillside.

Aug. 2 — Officer Sgt Keith Goodall and Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist whose vehicle ran out of gas in the 7000 block of north I-135.

Aug. 2 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag assisted a motorist whose car died in the 500 block of East 61st North.

Aug. 2 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Sedgwick County EMS on an unknown call in the 1000 block of Hopalong Cassidy.  

Aug. 2 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North on a 911 hang-up call. The caller reported four unknown people caused a minor disturbance. The people were asked to leave and later did.

Aug. 1 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to a miscellaneous report in the 4800 block of North Heritage Court. The reporting party evicted a person and planned on returning a box of their personal belongings.  Some of the items were missing.

Aug. 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis conducted a follow-up in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic on an earlier case.

Aug. 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist in the 5300 block of North Broadway.

Aug. 1 — Officer Brandon Green assisted a citizen at the police station.  The citizen was referred to Wichita police since the incident occurred in Wichita.

Aug. 1 — Officer Brandon Green performed a traffic stop in the 5400 block of North Shelton. The driver, Austin Hensley, was later arrested on charges of driving while a habitual violator, driving with a revoked license, no insurance, tag not assigned and illegal tag.
