Marvin Bailey Last Updated: July 24, 2014 Marvin A. Bailey, 74, died July 15, 2014. He was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Wichita, to Norman and Irma (Carpenter) Bailey. He retired from Boeing as a Machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Clayton Bailey and Laurel (Bud) Bailey; and sister Garnita Chuculate. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bailey; sons Marvin A. Bailey Jr., Donald R. Bailey, Ronald A. Bailey and Lance L. Bailey; daughters Valena J. Behrendt, Carla S. Malec, Rhonda M. Reeves and Brenda L. Saxon; extended children, Howard, Flora, Taylor and Avery; and 33 grandchildren and 44 plus great-grandchildren. Funeral service was July 21 at Northside Church of Christ, Wichita. Burial followed at Kechi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Northside Church of Christ. |
