May 19 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officer Michael Gordon stood by at Baxter Springs on South Meridian for a while to divert traffic.

May 19 — Officer J.C. Kirk took a report of burglary at 821 W. Third Street Terrace.

May 16 — Compliance Officer Cindy Plant relocated an opossum located at 617 N. Park.

May 15 — Sgt. Lloyd Newman, Det. Jay Grayson and Officers Chuck Quinn, Michael Gordon and Justin Longhofer responded to a report of a suspicious person with a weapon at 1100 Appleton after a man was seen shooting a rifle in his backyard. It turned out to be a pellet gun. The man was booked into jail on a Wichita warrant.

May 15 — Sgt. Matt Vogt spoke with a citizen about questions regarding found property.

May 15 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a citizen who was having vehicle problems at 6800 N. Interurban.

May 15 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Duane Schrag and Virginia Crice took a report of disorderly conduct at 236 S. Sheridan after a citizen reported juvenile males were driving by and cursing at him.

May 15 — Officers Virginia Crice and Duane Schrag responded to a report of an abduction in the 500 block of West Deerfield. The reporting party stated her husband abducted their daughter and the husband was just a common-law husband and not the child's biological father. Contact was made with the father and the child was safe. The father and child chose to stay in another location for the night.

May 15 — Officers Duane Schrag and Virginia Crice responded to a report of a suspicious character at Main and Burns. A juvenile was sitting by a fence in an alley to take a break.

May 15 — Officers Duane Schrag, J.C. Kirk, and Virginia Crice checked individuals stopped in the roadway at Fifth and Seneca. They were employees working for AT&T who were checking data from cellular towers in the area.

May 14 — Sgt. Matt Vogt checked for a disturbance in front of 160 S. Sheridan. The officer spoke with two citizens and everything was OK.

May 14 — Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to a report of a suspicious person at 255 E. Allen after a report of juveniles throwing rocks. The officer found out that they were only throwing them at each other. They quit throwing them and went home.

May 14 — Officer J.C. Kirk responded to a miscellaneous report at 536 N. Dexter. The reporting party said that her 60-day car tag was missing as if someone tried to rip it off her car.

May 13 — Officers J.C. Kirk and Greg Jackson responded to a report of suspicious person at 321 N. Colby. It was the neighbor and a plumber.

May 13 — Officers J.C. Kirk and Greg Jackson responded to a miscellaneous report at 201 S. Meridian.

May 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk conducted a car stop on multiple violations at 100 N. Meridian.

May 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk conducted a car stop on multiple violations at 400 N. Meridian.

May 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted the Harvey County Sheriff's Office on a car chase. The fleeing vehicle went west on 125th from Broadway and then back north. The vehicle was stopped in Sedgwick and the officer remained on scene until two white females were taken into custody.

May 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk conducted a car stop at 5300 N. Meridian.

May 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted the sheriff's office with a suspicious person at East Lake. A person was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

May 13 — Compliance Officer Cindy Plant responded to a report of dog abandonment at 651 N. Meridian. The officer left a notice on the door.

May 13 — Compliance Officer Cindy Plant picked up a trap located at 117 N. Dexter.

May 13 — Compliance Officer Cindy Plant set a trap for an armadillo at 11 Ora Court.

May 13 — Compliance Officer Cindy Plant checked water in a pond at 3036 E. Davidson. The water was dry and contained no sewage.
