Hornet basketball camps set for next week By The News staff Last Updated: May 23, 2013 The Valley Center High School basketball program will host a team camp from 4 to 7 p.m. May 28 through 31 at the high school. Cost is $40. Participants can register the first day of camp. Call coach John Wetig at 708-0352 or e-mail john.wetig@usd262.net. The camp is for players entering the ninth through 12th grades. The middle school team camp will be 1 to 3 p.m. May 28 through June 1 at the high school. Cost is $40. The camps will help students develop fundamental skills and drills and terminology used in the middle school and high school programs, learn team concepts and prepare students for the summer season. |
