    In late April, Bel Aire police received a report through social media of a suspicious vehicle and person driving a blue Honda Pilot with security markings and a light bar mounted to the roof through residential areas during the day and nighttime hours.

Alumni Banquet draws 214 for ‘special’ night Ron Black
    Well, 214 of us had a very special night by celebrating Valley Center High School's 111th year, and we had a great time doing it. It was the first Saturday of June, and that means it's the Annual VCHS Alumni Association Banquet. We ate good, we visited, we enjoyed each other's company and we did some reminiscing and stirred up some memory cells. Again.

New Hornet wrestling coach named Chris Strunk
    Lowe, who has been head coach of the Valley Center High School wrestling team for the past three seasons, announced his resignation last week. He is going to Dodge City High School, where he will be the head wrestling coach.
