Severe weather the topic of free class The News staff More than 45 people, including local firefighters and police officers, attended a severe weather safety class hosted by Sedgwick County Emergency Management Feb. 25 at the Valley Center Community Center. It was the first of several Storm Weather Awareness training sessions that will be held throughout the county this spring.
