Bel Aire chooses engineer for Woodlawn expansion Taylor Messick The city received a grant from WAMPO to expand Woodlawn from 37th North to 45th North, which includes the intersection at 45th and Woodlawn. Funding and construction are set to take place in 2020. However, the city first needed to hire an engineer to design the project and engage the public.

Park City issues 23 permits in June The News staff The City of Park City issued 23 building permits during June 2018 for a total valuation of $10,732,574. Of that number, eight were for new home construction and eight were for new duplex construction.

Scouts from Troop 494 have adventurous summer The News staff In June, 17 Scouts and seven fathers from Valley Center Boy Scout Troop 494 attended Quivira Scout Ranch in Sedan. During the week-long camp, the boys participated in shotgun, archery, swimming, jet-skiing, ATV, horseback riding, rock-climbing, first-aid, wilderness survival and various other classes.
