Alefs Harley Davidson to become Twister City Taylor Messick The business was recently bought and taken over by Dale Rhoads. Rhoads is from Phoenix and currently lives in Oklahoma. He said his love of motorcycles started at a young age.

Park City to repair 53rd St. bridge over Chisholm Creek Taylor Messick The bridge was built six years ago and uses wire instead of rebar. Plates on each side of the bridge pull the wires — which are tied off — under pressure. This is done inside the concrete pockets that look like rectangular holes on both sides of the bridge to help push the cement together so it won't crack.

Park City to test market for city hall building Taylor Messick Many in the city have expressed desire for a recreation center or community building. Some council and staff members feel that the old city hall has the potential to adequately serve either purpose in the future.

Schools consider shuffling grades Chris Strunk The school board is expected to vote this summer on a proposal that would make West, Abilene and Wheatland elementaries home to pre-kindergarten through third-grade students, move fourth and fifth grades to the intermediate school and add sixth grade to the middle school's seventh and eighth grades.

Vehicles passing buses with stop arms out The News Staff Valley Center Superintendent Cory Gibson said the buses were part of an area study to see how well the public observes school buses' stop arms and lights.
