    June Marie Cox, 76, died, Feb. 27, 2017 at her home in Valley Center after a lengthy struggle with cancer.

    Keeton Isaac Jeffries, 20, died, Feb. 19, 2017.
LEON WOOD
    Leon Henery Wood, 72, was born near Willow Springs, Mo., to Earl Taylor and Opal Pearl (Burtchett) Wood. He worked for Cessna, Boeing and Piago as a sheet metalist, fabrication and riveter. He loved hunting, fishing, but most importantly family time and helping friends.

    Mary Hanson, 87, died in her home on Feb. 21, 2017, in Valley Center.

    Ronald Lee Panizzi, 80, husband, father, grandfather, retired sales manager, Price Brothers Equipment, and retired USD 261 transportation support employee, died, Feb. 23, 2017.
