Trucks’ loads cause problems The News staff
    On Nov. 20, Valley Center police Officer Ryan Mumma was called to Meridian and 101st North where an overloaded truck had been driving north on Meridian. The truck's load struck an overhead powerline, causing it to lower to about 15 feet off the ground, according to a police report.
