Few coaching changes at high school and middle school The News staff This year's coaching staffs at Valley Center High School and Valley Center Middle School will look similar to last year, with a couple of notable changes.

Valley Center cheer does well at summer camp The News staff There were two types of camp during the week, and the cheerleaders were in the stunt and performance side of camp. They learned stunts, pyramids and a dance in order to put a routine together for the final performance. The squad competed against five other large varsity squads from across the state.
