MARIAN DROEGEMEIER Marian May (Skaggs) Droegemeier, 90, of Russell, formerly of Valley Center, died March 20, 2015. She was an assistant librarian for 20 years at West and Abilene elementary schools in Valley Center.

Kechi OKs purchase of electronic sign David Dinell Kechi will soon have a large electronic message sign on the south side of City Hall. Precise details of its size and cost have yet to be determined, but the city council made it clear at its March 12 meeting that it wants the project to happen, voting 5-0 to approve it.
