Congressman visits active Bel Aire biz community Matt Heilman Congressman Mike Pompeo found time in his schedule to visit a community that could be on the brink of growth unlike anywhere else in the Wichita area. Bel Aire City Manager Ty Lasher said he was contacted by Pompeo's office in Washington D.C. about six weeks ago.

Development plans pushing forward in Bel Aire Matt Heilman More than half of the land is in a floodplain, but Lasher said at least two to three acres on the corner of the property is available for construction. On the five to six acres in the floodplain, he said several options could include the construction of a parking lot or the development of a small park area.

Next phase unveiled for health and wellness development in Bel Aire Matt Heilman The planned health and wellness destination resort, called Tierra Verde began last summer with the groundbreaking of the Concierge Surgical Recovery Center and the new clinic home for Dr. George Watson. The recovery center is designed to be a place where patients can recover from surgery with medical assistance available outside of a hospital setting.
