Bel Aire clears way for Tierra Verde tenant Matt Heilman
On the City of Bel Aire's end, the work needed to launch construction of the first tenant in a key development in the community is done. At a Jan. 15 special meeting, the Bel Aire City Council approved the issuance of $4.475 million in industrial revenue bonds to get the Concierge Surgical Recovery Center under way in Tierra Verde, an approximate 150-acre development near 47th North and Webb Road that has been more than five years in the making.
Bel Aire keeps work going in commerce park Matt Heilman
Bel Aire's Sunflower Commerce Park currently has one tenant and seemingly limitless potential. In preparation for the day when Century Manufacturing will be surrounded by fellow manufacturers, suppliers and offices, work continues on the infrastructure for the 800-acre property. The master plan for the Sunflower Commerce Park calls for the first 155 acres to be shovel-ready, meaning infrastructure will be put in place ahead of development plans so that construction can begin immediately when a business commits to building on the property. At its Jan. 22 meeting, the Bel Aire Council approved measures to keep dirt moving and equipment running in the Sunflower Commerce Park.
