FOOTBALL PICKS: Hensley picks 16 for Week 2 win

In a week when 14 was a decent score, Deborah Hensley did much better than that.

Hensley had 16 of 20 correct picks to win the second week of the Ark Valley News Football Picks contest. She will receive $25 in Football Bucks.

Five pickers had 14 correct picks. Malaki Moore had the closest tiebreaker guess of 38 to win second lace. The tiebreaker score of 27 was the combined final score of K-State's 17-10 loss to Tulane. Moore will receive $20 in Football Bucks.

Katie Scantlin had the next closest tiebreaker guess of 42 to win third place and $15 in Football Bucks.

The other pickers who had 14 correct (and their tiebreaker guesses) were Irene Gagnon (47), Harold Bohlmann (51) and Brad Edwards (52).

This week's prizes can be picked up at Brian Haight's State Farm Insurance, 306 S. Meridian.

Scores will accumulate during the 10-week contest.

Through two weeks, Hensley had the overall lead with 29 points. Brad Edwards and Malaki Moore were second with 28 each. Briana Maskrid had 27. Seven were tied with 26.
