Police reports

May 15 — Officer Rasheed Berry made contact with individuals at 316 S. Abilene. The reporting party was suspicious of individuals at the park.

May 14 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a phone message at the police station. Garcia returned a call in reference to an injury auto accident.

May 14 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a report of criminal damage at 6210 N. Sullivan. The calling party reported that his fence and mailbox were damaged.

May 14 — Officer Liliana Garcia responded to a report of fraud at 320 Scott. The calling party reported being a victim of a computer scam.

May 14 — Officers Jerry Ezell and Austin Hart responded to a reported criminal threat at 600 S. Eastridge. The calling party reported that an individual returned to a graduation party with a shotgun after being asked to leave.

May 13 — Officer Liliana Garcia made contact with an individual at 810 N. Meridian. The calling party was suspicious of an individual who watched her and her children unload groceries from her vehicle.

May 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell made a warrant arrest during a traffic stop at Fourth and Park. Ezell conducted a stop for an illegal vehicle registration in the 100 block of West Fourth. Antonio Ibarra was arrested on an active warrant out of Goddard and was also charged with driving wit a suspended license and no insurance.

May 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell responded to a one-vehicle accident at 6213 N. Sullivan. The calling party reported that a possibly intoxicated male drove into a tree. When Ezell arrived the driver was disoriented and a bottle of alcohol was seen on the floorboard of the vehicle. The driver admitted to consuming alcohol and was transported to the hospital.

May 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell checked for shots fired near Main and Miles. The calling party reported hearing five or six gunshots but nothing was heard or located.

May 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell responded to a noise complaint in the 200 block of North Birch. The calling party complained about a loud party but nothing was located.

May 13 — Officer Jerry Ezell checked a vehicle at 61st North and Dodge. The calling party reported that a vehicle was parked in the ditch. Officers did not locate the owner and the vehicle was red-tagged for creating a road hazard.

May 12 — Officer Liliana Garcia made a warrant arrest during a traffic stop at 300 N. Meridian. Ricardo Cordova was arrested on a Sedgwick County warrant. 

May 11 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Rasheed Berry assisted EMS at Fifth and Emporia. An individual was bleeding while walking down the street.

May 11 — Officers Liliana Garcia and Rasheed Berry made a warrant arrest at 314 E. Clay. Rachel Hoien was arrested on a Sedgwick County warrant.

May 10 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a report of vandalism at 560 N. Park. The calling party reported that a playhouse was damaged.

May 10 — Officers Liliana Garcia, Scott Hamlin and Greg Fox and Sgt. J.C. Kirk confirmed a warrant at the police station. Jose E. Hernandez was arrested on a Valley Center warrant in Sedgwick County.

May 10 — Officers Liliana Garcia, Scott Hamlin and Greg Fox and Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to a report of mail theft at 950 N. Goff Court. The calling party reported that her mail was being forwarded to New York.

May 10 — Officers Liliana Garcia, Scott Hamlin and Greg Fox and Sgt. J.C. Kirk made contact with a motorist at 1200 S. Meridian. The Flock camera system incorrectly identified a stolen vehicle.

May 10 — Officers Liliana Garcia, Scott Hamlin and Greg Fox and Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to a reported disturbance at 1240 E. Ford.

May 9 — Officers Rasheed Berry, Scott Hamlin and Greg Fox and Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to a reported juvenile runaway.
