MARK KIRKLAND Last Updated: January 04, 2019 Mark Darrin Kirkland, 51, died Dec. 30, 2018. He was born Dec. 6, 1967, the youngest of four children to Jake and Patricia Kirkland. He was raised in Valley Center and graduated from Valley Center High School in 1986. Survivors include his parents; daughter Alyssa Kirkland (Luis Moran); siblings Steven Kirkland, Doug (Jodi) Kirkland and Tami (Scott) Applegate; nieces Ally Applegate, Brandi (Troy) Dusenbery and their daughter Regan Dusenbery and Claire Kirkland; nephews Bret (Erin) Kirkland, Jared Kirkland and Kevin (Kristin) Kirkland; and his dog, Bart. Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 5 at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Kellogg Drive, Wichita, with private graveside service afterward. Memorials to The American Diabetes Association, 608 W.
