Blotter Buzz Last Updated: October 25, 2018 Oct. 20 — Valley Center Officer Jerry Ezell responded to a suspicious person at Abilene Elementary School. The calling party said two kids outside the school were smoking weed. Officer talked to the kids who were just eating candy. There was no smell of marijuana. Oct. 19 — Park City Cpl. Tracey Prideaux responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North for a welfare check of a dog after the calling party saw it spanked by its owner. Everything was OK. Oct. 18 — Park City Cpl. Tracey Prideaux, Officer Gary Palmer and Sgt. Keith Goodall found two juveniles fighting, while three other juveniles recorded the fight, in the park in the 6300 block of North Mobile Drive. The juveniles said it was just for fun. Officers contacted all of their parents. Oct. 17 — Park City Officer Cody McCall and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a report of unknown men in suits walking around the neighborhood of the 8800 block of North Saddlebrook Court. Officers contacted the men who were Jehovah's Witnesses. |
