Blotter Buzz Last Updated: October 11, 2018 Oct. 7 — Valley Center Officer Erik Nygaard responded to a suspicious person at 69th North and Meridian. The calling party reported a woman walking north on Meridian in the middle of the road with an umbrella. Nygaard located the woman, who was walking on the sidewalk and heading home from Wichita. She refused a ride. Oct. 7 — Park City Officer Luke Tibbits called a person in the 500 block of East 63rd North who was upset that semitrailers were making too much noise. The resident calmed down and returned to bed. Oct. 4 — Valley Center Officer Ryan Mumma and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to a domestic disturbance at Main and Park. The calling party reported his ex-wife had a suspended driver's license and was driving their kids around. Officer spoke with the suspect who was not driving at the time, and warned her about driving while suspended. She found someone else to drive her and her kids home. Oct. 4 — Park City Officers Cole Haas and Todd Langford responded to disorderly conduct in the 5100 block of North Broadway. The calling party said her former boyfriend advised he was going to come to her house and take her cat. Officers informed her this was a civil matter. She said she would get a protection-from-abuse order. |
