LILA SHEA

Lila Irene Shea, 66, of Park City, died Sept. 8, 2018,.

She was born in Independence. Her family moved to Wichita and she graduated from Wichita Heights High School. She worked at Beechcraft for 40 years, retiring as an inspector.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry Shea, Alice and Robert Christlieb; and brother William R. Shea. Survivors include sisters Mary (Joe) Henley of Livingston, Texas, Virginia Shea of Park City, Lydia Swanson of Augusta, Roberta (Monty) Guthrie of Augusta, Penny (Mark) Smithhart of Whitewater and Peggy (Chuck) Roets of Valley Center; brothers Ron (Rita) Christlieb of Warden, Ill., and Douglas (Sonja) Christlieb of Lynchburg, Mo.; stepmother Mary Seay of Crosby, Texas; aunts Freda Winkleman of Cherryvale, Phyllis Nolan of Whitewater and Marjorie Kurtz of Wichita; uncle Harold Jay Lindsay of Red Bay, Ala.; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept 12 and service will be 10 a.m. Sept. 15, both at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Graveside service is at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. Memorials to the Sedgwick County Zoo Elephants, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd., Wichita KS 67212.
