JAMES ELGIN

James Glendon Elgin, 94, of Park City, died Sept. 8, 2018.

He was born in Fort Bragg, Calif., to Hurley and Ada (Benedict) Elgin. He was a retired Boeing Aircraft tool engineer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Carol Lynn Reynolds, parents and sisters Audry Montre, Evaleen Witherspoon and Jean Lirette.  Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Cecilia Elgin; children LeeAnn (Al) Shnayer, Gail Johnson, Richard (Glenda) Elgin and Ronald (Janice) Elgin; grandchildren Elizabeth (Jerry) Lower, Rebecca McClure, Christopher Johnson, Alison (Nate) Peak, Dana Reynolds, Johna Elgin,

Riley Elgin, Ronald Elgin Jr., Chasitty Elgin and Jeremy (Shannon) Wilkerson; great-grandchildren Tyler (Alicia) McClure, Trenton McClure, Trista McClure, Jordan Lower, Ethan Lower, Kaytlin Johnson, Ellie Johnson, Audrey Elgin Riley Wilkerson and Lane Wilkerson; and many other family and friends.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 15 at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Graveside at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita. Memorials to the Midwest Historical & Genealogical Society, 1203 N. Main, Wichita KS 67203.
