Lisa Renee Harden, 37, of Mulvane, died Aug. 24, 2018.

She was born Dec, 2, 1980, in Wichita. She started playing T-ball in kindergarten and played softball all the way through high school, earning all-state and all-conference honors four years in a row. She played summer softball and went to nationals three times. She graduated from Valley Center High School and received a softball scholarship to Çowley College. She volunteered as an EMT for the city of Derby and worked as an oncology nurse. She sang in a bluegrass band with her father.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Wilburn Harden. Survivors include her son, Benjamin Abram Marder; father Leonard (Leianne) Harden; mother Karen (Brad) Alderson; her son's father, Daniel Marder, and his family; sisters Stacey (Paul) Herrington, Angie (Ty) Smith and Michelle (Tyler) Russell; stepsisters Amber (Daniel) Miller and Cassidi (Tito) Lugo; and 13 nieces and nephews .

Services were Aug. 31 at Smith Family Mortuary in Derby. Memorials to the Cancer Center of Kansas PA, Attention Abe, 818 N. Emporia, Suite 403, Wichita, KS 67214.
