Police reports

July 15 — Sgt. Matt Vogt found an open door at 737 N. Meridian. He checked the building and secured the door.

July 15 — Sgt. Matt Vogt found several open doors at 800 N. Meridian. He checked the building and secured the doors.

July 15 — Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to 145 S. Abilene where the calling party reported a crossbow arrow came over his fence sometime during the day and stuck in the side of his house. He did not want to make a case but wanted more safety from projectiles.

July 15 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a gas runoff at 222 S. Meridian. 

July 14 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to domestic violence in the 7800 block of Buena Vista Drive. The calling party reported people damaged property and covered cameras with spray paint. Officers determined it was a civil matter.

July 14 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to a non-injury accident at Sheridan and Main.

July 14 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley assisted Park City police in the 6300 block of North Broadway with a welfare check.

July 14 — Officer Eric Leeker and Sgt. Jason Easley assisted a resident in filing a rape report. The reported rape occurred several days ago in Valley Center and involved juveniles.

July 14 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to an inoperable vehicle near Colby and Allen that was blocking Colby at the exit from the pool. Nygaard blocked traffic until a tow truck arrived and towed the vehicle.

July 14 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted Park City police in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic with a traffic stop.

July 14 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to Via Christi St. Joseph's Hospital at 3600 E. Harry and picked up a rape kit.

July 14 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to 610 Scott for a welfare check. The calling party heard a female yelling east of this location. Nygaard checked the area but did not find anyone or hear anything.

July 13 — Officer Jeremy Manning assisted Wichita police at 680 N. Redbud Court with a follow-up on a crime committed in Wichita.

July 13 — Officers Eric Leeker and Erik Nygaard assisted Park City police with a vehicle chase in the 7800 block of North I-135.

July 13 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted EMS at 1240 E. Ford.

July 12 — Officer Jeremy Manning responded to a missing juvenile in the 800 block of North Redbud Court. Manning located the juvenile and took her home.

July 12 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to the 900 block of Clover to speak with a resident about a solicitor claiming to be from ADT. Officer called ADT who said they had no one in the area.

July 12 — Officer Serenity Donham responded to an alarm at Brookfield Apartments. It was false.

July 12 — Officer Erik Nygaard and Sgt. Jason Easley responded to 654 E. Third where the calling party had reported a vehicle parked in the construction site by Third Street. The vehicle was found near Main and Abilene. Officers contacted a man and explained the construction site is private property.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger stickered a vehicle in the 700 block of North Abilene for an expired tag and the tag not being assigned to the vehicle.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger stickered a vehicle in the 400 block of North Colby for being parked on a city street with an expired tag.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger stickered a vehicle in the 300 block of North Abilene for being parked on a city street with an expired tag. 

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger checked a vehicle in the driveway at 312 N. Abilene. They arrested Harmon McCollom for a warrant.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger confirmed a warrant for Cody Cain who was already in custody at the Sedgwick County jail.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger confirmed a warrant for Natalie Twigg who was already in custody at the Sedgwick County jail.

July 11 — Officer Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger responded to a runaway in the 800 block of North Redbud. The calling party reported her 16-year-old daughter was missing and had left a letter that said she was leaving and not coming back. 

July 11 — Officer Scott Hamlin arrested Mikiela Dawson for a Sedgwick County warrant.

July 11 — Officer Scott Hamlin stickered a vehicle in the 700 block of North Abilene for having an expired tag and the tag not being assigned to the vehicle.

July 11 — Officer Scott Hamlin stickered a vehicle at Meadow and Longview for being parked on a city street with an expired tag.

July 11 — Officers Rasheed Berry and Erik Nygaard stopped a vehicle at Meridian and Industrial for a traffic violation. The vehicle was searched and a small amount of marijuana was found. Nathan Dawson was cited for possession and released. 

July 10 — Officer Ceara Metzger assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by trying to contact a woman at 417 N. Meeds. No contact was made.

July 10 — Officer Scott Hamlin and Sgt. J.C. Kirk responded to 520 E. Albert to stand-by to prevent a disturbance while a person retrieved their belongings.

July 9 — Officer Ceara Metzger red tagged a vehicle at 320 N. Dexter for being parked on the city street with an expired tag.

July 9 — Officer Ceara Metzger stickered a vehicle for an expired tag at Third and Burns.

July 9 — Officer Ceara Metzger responded to 3901 Palos Verdes Circle for a burglary report. The resident said someone entered her locked barn without permission and took a shop vacuum valued at $80 and damaged the garage light.

July 9 — Officer Ceara Metzger assisted a resident at the station who reported having a video of people entering his home.

July 9 — Officers Ceara Metzger and Scott Hamlin and Sgt. J.C. Kirk met with the same resident who reported people entering his home at 645 N. Meridian. He requested officers do a walk-through in his home. When the officers arrived, he left without making a report.

July 9 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a runaway in the 1000 block of North Meadow Road.

July 15 — 720 W. Deerfield Circle, abdominal pains.

July 14 — 6234 N. Dodge, check for an explosion.

July 13 — 1240 E. Ford, No. 103, chest pains.

July 13 — 541 N. Hickory Lane, check fire outside.

July 13 — 1240 E. Ford, No. 311, difficulty breathing.

July 11 — 426 N. Abilene, eye problems.

July 11 — 222 W. Meridian, known substance spill.

July 11 — 1240 E. Ford, check electrical wiring.

July 11 — 840 S. Meridian, permit.

July 10 — 426 N. Abilene, eye problem.

July 9 — 200 S. Colby, fall.

July 9 — 4020 W. Palos Verdes, permit.
