Hornets in national tournaments By The News staff Last Updated: July 12, 2018 Two Valley Center High School volleyball players, Ellie Shank and Hannah Johnston, participated in the USA Girls National Championships, July 1 through 4 in Detroit. Both girls played for the Shockwave in different divisions. Shank's Shockwave team placed third out of 36 teams in the USA division. She was also selected to the All-Tournament team, along with two of her teammates. Johnston's Shockwave team placed 13th out of 64 teams in the American division. Both girls will be juniors this fall at Valley Center High School. |
