Blotter Buzz Last Updated: April 26, 2018 April 22 — Valley Center Sgt. Michael Gordon responded to 2850 E. Ford for a burglary in-progress call. The calling party heard someone inside the residence. It turned out to be the calling party's brother, and there was no burglary. April 21 — Valley Center Officer Jeremy Manning responded to 201 S. Meridian for a suspicious person. Subway employees were concerned about a gentleman who was in the restroom for a long time. Manning checked on the couple in their vehicle, and the female driver had a Wichita warrant. April 17 — Park City Lt. Hobert Capps and Officers Tracey Prideaux, Todd Langford and Luke Tibbits responded to the 6800 block of North Hydraulic for a report of a rotting smell coming from a manhole in the park. City workers arrived and opened the sewer. Officers did not find anything rotting. April 16 — Valley Center Officer Scott Hamlin responded to a disturbance at 645 N. Meridian. The calling party said he and his girlfriend were fighting because he thought she let his dog out. The dog was not found. |
