Police reports

April 22 — Sgt. Michael Gordon scheduled a stand-by to prevent a disturbance at 7100 N. Clarence for 4 p.m. when a second officer would be on duty.

April 22 — Sgt. Michael Gordon responded to the 500 block of West First to assist EMS. He was disregarded when EMS arrived.

April 22 — Sgt. Michael Gordon responded to 8003 N. Broadway for a possible burglary in-progress. After speaking with the two suspects, he learned they had permission to be there.

April 22 — Sgt. Michael Gordon assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 37th North and Wormer by going to the Kwik Shop to apprehend a suspect.

April 22 — Sgt. Michael Gordon assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 8945 N. Weber Court with a stand-by to prevent a disturbance.

April 22 — Officer Scott Hamlin and Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to 7100 N. Clarence for a stand-by to prevent a disturbance while an individual vacated the home per a court order.

April 22 — Officer Scott Hamlin and Sgt. Matt Vogt responded to 7100 N. Clarence a second time for a stand-by to prevent a disturbance while the same individual from the previous call removed animals from the property.

April 21 — Officer Jeremy Manning responded to 601 Valley Park Drive for a welfare check. There was an argument between the father and son outside with shouting and curse words. The officer checked both parties at another residence, and they said they were fine. It was verbal only.

April 21 — Officers Serenity Donham and Eric Leeker responded to 561 W. First for a theft. The calling party said a package was not there after being notified by the Postal Service that it had been delivered April 20.

April 21 — Officers Serenity Donham, Eric Leeker and Erik Nygaard responded to 222 S. Meridian. A motorist left without paying for $30 worth of gas.

April 21 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 8005 N. 55th West by checking for a suspicious person parked in the roadway. He did not find any vehicles.

April 20 — Sgt. Jason Easley assisted a resident at the station who reported what was thought to be a violation of a protective order.

April 20 — Sgt. Jason Easley assisted EMS at 11 E. Hickory Court.

April 20 — Officers Serenity Donham and Eric Leeker responded to 230 N. Park and arrested Laurel Barrier-Winslow for a Wichita warrant.

April 20 — Officers Serenity Donham and Eric Leeker responded to 561 W. First. The calling party reported his girlfriend's ex-husband took photos of his house.

April 19 — Officer Jeremy Manning assisted Park City police at 85th North and Broadway with an injury accident.

April 18 — Officers Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger responded to 3970 E. Ford to check for a runaway. The home was searched, and the suspect wasn't found.

April 18 — Officers Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger responded to 2 Valley Oaks for a stand-by to prevent a disturbance.

April 18 — Officers Scott Hamlin, Eric Leeker and Serenity Donham responded to the 100 block of East Butler for an overdose. EMS arrived and took the juvenile female to Wesley Hospital.

April 18 — Officers Jeremy Manning and Ceara Metzger assisted Wichita police at 3800 W. 77th North by checking the welfare of a 4-year-old. The child was found in Wichita.

April 17 — Officer Ceara Metzger followed up at 310 N. Emporia.

April 17 — Officer Ceara Metzger took a miscellaneous call at the station.

April 17 — Officer Ceara Metzger assisted EMS at 200 S. Colby.

April 17 — Officer Ceara Metzger performed traffic enforcement.

April 17 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to the 500 block of Fiddlers Creek for suspicious people. The calling party reported several people in the area walking between the houses. Officer spoke with them and learned they were looking for a lost dog.

April 17 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to 3453 W. 81st North for a 911 hang-up call. The calling party said her son dialed 911.

April 17 — Officers Scott Hamlin and Rasheed Berry responded to an alarm at 220 E. Ford. The key holder was on the scene, and the building was cleared. 

April 17 — Officers Scott Hamlin and Rasheed Berry assisted Park City police and Sedgwick County fire at 270 E. 53rd North with a fire.

April 16 — Officers Ceara Metzger and Ryan Mumma followed up at 219 E. Third. The officers spoke to an individual about an incident that occurred the previous night.

April 16 — Officers Ceara Metzger and Ryan Mumma provided a funeral escort.

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to 222 S. Meridian where a motorist left without paying for $35 worth of gas. 

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to a disturbance at 630 W. Deerfield. The calling party said her son was out of control and would not take his medication. He eventually took his medication and calmed down.

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin responded to 222 S. Meridian where a motorist left without paying for $33.93 worth of gas.

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted Valley Center fire and EMS at 1310 S. Meridian on a fire call.

April 16 — Officer Scott Hamlin assisted Valley Center fire and EMS at 426 N. Abilene on a fire call.

April 16 — Officer Rasheed Berry responded to a disturbance with a weapon at 8345 N. Broadway. The calling party, who was armed, said a person with a repossession company wouldn't leave his property. The repo man was looking for the owner's brother's vehicle and was told it was on the property. The owner took them to the back and showed them the car was not there. Berry informed the repo man when he comes back to ask for police to stand by to prevent a disturbance. The owner asked if the repo man would knock on the door instead of just walking onto his property.
