Police Sgt. Matt Vogt said residents in the 700 block of North Abilene reported coming home Feb. 6 and finding an X-Box, PlayStation 4, games, a phone and other items missing. There were no apparent signs of a break-in. The victims gave police the name of a possible suspect. Later that day, police were told that a cellphone that was stolen was pinging next door. An officer went to the address, and the owner opened the trunk of his son's vehicle. Some of the stolen items were inside, police said. The boy was taken to the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center on a charge of possession of stolen property. |
