HARLEY ROBINSON

Harley Paul Robinson, 95, of Valley Center, died Dec. 24, 2017.

He was born April 7, 1922, in Peabody to Marvin and Trassie Robinson. He retired at age 55 as a truck driver for Cassell Trucking and started a hydraulic jack repair business.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Carolyn; infant son Ritchie; son Dale; brothers Harold, Harry, Howard, Hubert and John; sister Helen; and son-in-law Kent Robinson. Survivors include daughters Carol (Jimmy) Brockman, Becky (Robert) Schippers and Georganna Robinson; grandchildren Ronnie (Taryn) Brockman, Jennifer Brockman  (Frank Herrers), Kara (Andrew) Myers, Meghan Schippers and Haleyanna Schippers; great-grandchildren Gregory, Eric, Breanna, Tayla and Nolan; sister Hazel (Paul) Swangel; special friend and dancing partner Doris Koker; and many other family and friends.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Dec. 29 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 900 N. Marquette, Kingman. Memorials to Starkey Inc., 4500 W. Maple, Wichita KS 67209.
