‘Christmas Carol’ at VCHS
By The News staff
Last Updated: December 14, 2017

Valley Center High School's advance performance class will present “A Christmas Carol" at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 and 2 p.m. Dec. 17 at the high school. The performances are free. Donations will be accepted with proceeds benefiting VC Cares for Kids.

Senior Edie Reese will direct the presentation. Reese's father, Kevin Reese, penned the stage adaptation based on the original story by Charles Dickens. John Boldenow, a professional actor based in Wichita, will play the role of Scrooge.

“I'm really glad that my dad is letting me do one of his shows," Edie Reese said. “He even helps me with blocking and finding whatever we need."
