Nov. 12 — Officers Todd Langford and Edwyn Diaz followed up on a case in the 1200 block of East Beaumont. They arrested Sonya Bates and Kathy Hutchinson each on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Nov. 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Bel Aire police by checking for a woman with a Bel Aire warrant in the 1400 block of East Evanston. She was not found.

Nov. 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Tracey Prideaux and Luke Tibbits responded to the 900 block of East Connolly Court to check the welfare of a woman at her sister's request. They spoke with the woman who said everything was OK.

Nov. 12 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of East Ventnor. They found a small black container in the vehicle. The driver said she did not know what it was and allowed Sanchez to open it. He found drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine in the container. Officers arrested Tracy Barbeau on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an opiate.

Nov. 12 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to a tree limb lying in the road and blocking traffic in the 5200 block of North I-135. He checked the area but did not find any tree limbs.

Nov. 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a person who wanted to report underage drinking in the 3900 block of North Garland Circle. He advised the calling party to file a report with Wichita police because the address was in Wichita.

Nov. 11 — Officer Cody McCall and Sgt. Brandon Green took a report of a non-injury accident in the 5200 block of North I-135.

Nov. 11 — Sgt. Brandon Green responded to assist Kechi police with a combative suspect in the 300 block of West Tomahawk, Kechi. When he arrived, Kechi and Bel Aire officers were physically engaged with the suspect trying to arrest him. Green handcuffed the suspect and escorted him to the Kechi police vehicle.  

Nov. 11 — Officer Cody McCall responded to Connolly Court and Jacksonville where someone ran over the stop sign and power box. Westar Energy was contacted.

Nov. 10 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 2600 block of East Cambridge to check the welfare of a woman. The calling party said he could not get in touch with her and had not spoken with her since Nov. 9. They spoke with the woman, who said everything was fine. She tried calling the reporting party several times but he would not answer. Officers told the calling party the woman was OK.

Nov. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny in the 5500 block of North Chuzy Drive. An employee reported the theft Nov. 1 of 10 batteries by an unknown man.

Nov. 10 — Officer Todd Langford assisted EMS in the 6400 block of North Chisholm Pointe.

Nov. 10 — Officer Cody McCall and Sgt. Brandon Green followed up in the 1200 block of East Beaumont Drive. They spoke with Larry Hutchinson about the events of July 3, 2017, and arrested him on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Nov. 10 — Officer Cody McCall responded to a vehicle being driven erratically in the 7400 block of North I-135. He did not find the vehicle.

Nov. 10 — Sgt. Brandon Green stopped a motorist for doing doughnuts in the park in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. He arrested the driver, Thomas Wilson, on charges of DUI and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Nov. 10 — Officer Cody McCall responded to a person sleeping in a truck in the parking lot of a business in the 6100 block of North Broadway. The truck was registered to the business and was unoccupied when officer arrived.

Nov. 10 — Officer Cody McCall responded to a loud music complaint in the 500 block of East 63rd North. He told the homeowner to turn down the music.

Nov. 9 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a resident who walked into the station to report the theft of a ring by a known suspect from the 6300 block of North East Parkview.

Nov. 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Todd Langford, Christopher Shields and Luke Tibbits responded to the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Circle. They had received a phone message from an individual regarding her granddaughter who was a reported runaway from Harvey County. Officers tried unsuccessfully to locate the juvenile by checking most of the occupied rooms and talking to hotel guests.  

Nov. 9 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Brandon Green tried to serve several notices to appear in the 1200 block of East Beaumont Drive but were unsuccessful.

Nov. 9 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez responded to a general alarm in the 5400 block of North Chuzy Drive. It was false.

Nov. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 5300 block of North Hillside to assist Sedgwick County sheriff with an alarm. The alarm was false.

Nov. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 5900 block of North Newport where the calling party had found a box of old mail for two people and other household items in a dumpster on a construction site. The calling party wants the trash removed or the bill paid for the extra trash. Officer spoke with one of the individuals who said it was a misunderstanding. Officer passed the individual's name and phone number to the calling party so it could be worked out.

Nov. 8 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to the 1000 block of East 61st North and arrested Lisa Campbell for four Park City warrants.  

Nov. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Christopher Shields and Luke Tibbits responded to an alarm in the 1500 block of East Fallbrook. It was false.

Nov. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Luke Tibbits responded to an alarm in the 2900 block of East Fairchild. It was false.

Nov. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Christopher Shields and Luke Tibbits responded to a burglary in the 7500 block of North Broadway. The reporting party said someone entered her father's barn and took a black and orange Kobuta RTV-500.

Nov. 8 — Officer Luke Tibbits spoke with a woman on the phone who wanted directions to a vehicle reported as abandoned Nov. 7. He provided the address where the vehicle was located.

Nov. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Christopher Shields and Luke Tibbits responded to the 6300 block of North Scottsville where two men claiming to be with AT&T had been going door to door for several hours. The calling party said the man he spoke with was acting oddly and he wasn't sure they were with AT&T.

Nov. 8 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to the 7500 block of North I-135 for a vehicle with its hazard flashers on. He spoke with the driver who said she ran out of gas and called for a ride. Officer helped push the vehicle off the road.

Nov. 7 — Sgt. Richard Wolff followed up in the 400 block of East 61st North where the victim wanted to prosecute. Officer prepared a notice to appear for the victim to sign.

Nov. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Nov. 7 — Officer Luke Tibbits took a report of a non-injury accident Nov. 6 in the 900 block of East 61st North.

Nov. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report of a non-injury accident in the 4700 block of North Hydraulic.

Nov. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Luke Tibbits responded to an alarm in the 6300 block of North Chisholm Pointe Court. It was false.

Nov. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Luke Tibbits responded to the 6000 block of North Independence for a child left at school. While talking with the calling party on the scene, the child's mother called to say she was on her way.

Nov. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. It was false.

Nov. 7 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to an abandon vehicle in the 5100 block of North Deere Road. He contacted the registered own who said someone would pick up the vehicle by Nov. 8.

Nov. 6 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an alarm in the 2500 block of East Burlington Court. It was false.

Nov. 6 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to disorderly conduct in the 400 block of East 61st North. A patient became irate and belligerent, and threw furniture in the lobby.

Nov. 6 — Lt. Hobert Capps, Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Todd Langford responded to the 8500 block of North Broadway. An unknown person had parked in the calling party's driveway, and officers told him to leave.

Nov. 6 — Officer Todd Langford followed up in the 6200 block of North Broadway. He spoke with a person about returning property that was in evidence. He released the item to the owner.

Nov. 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Luke Tibbits and Todd Langford responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive where the calling party had reported David Truman as a wanted person. Officers arrested Truman for a Garden City warrant.

Nov. 6 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez found an open container when they stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 5700 block of North Air Cap Drive. Officers searched the vehicle but did not find anything else. They released the driver.

Nov. 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Cody McCall responded to a traffic hazard in the 6000 block of North I-135. The calling party said a vehicle with its hazard flashers on was blocking traffic at the northbound off-ramp. Officers checked the area but did not find the vehicle.

Nov. 5 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an alarm in the 5100 block of North Broadway. It was false.

Nov. 5 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps took a report of an injury accident in the 6300 block of North I-135.
