ROBERT LARCADE

Robert D. Larcade, 81, of Argonia, died Nov. 11, 2017.

He was born Sept. 27, 1936, to Wallie Earl and Neta Rea (Dooling) Larcade in Wichita. He married Vivian McClintock, and they moved to Salt Lake City. He worked at Frito Co., was a mechanic at a bowling alley, became a brick mason and was a mechanic for several funny car drag racers. After returning to Kansas, he married Jeannette Simon, who died a few months later. He was married to Bonnie Hoyt for 18 years. He later married Anita LaVell Fitch Nov. 27, 2004, in Argonia. They were married for nearly 13 years.

He was preceded in death by wives Jeanette Larcade and Bonnie Rose Larcade; sisters Josephine Larcade, Reta Larcade Tracy, Wanda Larcade and Mary Ann Garroutte; brother Darold Larcade; parents; stepson Doug Simon and grandson Jordan Larcade. Survivors include wife Anita Larcade; daughter Theresa Larcade of Taylorsville City, Utah; son Timothy (Shari) Larcade of West Valley City, Utah; son Anthony (Judy) Larcade of Rio Rancho, N.M.; stepson Bennie (Ruth)) Hoyt of Benton; stepdaughter, Tracy (Kyle) Omo of Valley Center; brother Gene Larcade of Belle Plaine; sister Darlene (Kenneth) Garroutte of Wichita; grandchildren Samantha, Stefani, Jerry, T.J., Cory, Kirsten, Emily, Joseph, Molly, Emma, Taylor, Adam, Lakecia, Ashley, Jillian and Joshua; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Friends Church in Argonia. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at the Maize Park Cemetery, Maize. Memorials to the Argonia Friends Church or Barclay College in Haviland. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home. Cornejo|Day Funeral Home & Crematory of Wellington has charge.​
