Sept. 10 — Officer Luke Tibbits and Sgt. Keith Goodall took a phone message at the station from a woman who wanted to report her car had been stolen. She said her former roommate was the last one to have the keys. Officers entered the car into NCIC as stolen.

Sept. 10 — Officer Todd Langford contacted an individual in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic who said his stolen vehicle had been returned. Officer took the vehicle out of NCIC.

Sept. 10 — Officers Todd Langford and Luke Tibbits and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said her juvenile daughter was swearing and making threats against her mother and grandmother. Officers told the mother to contact the parole officer and mention this case.

Sept. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Todd Langford and Luke Tibbits checked a residence in the 1400 block of East Frontenac. They spoke with the calling party about a vehicle parked in their driveway. The calling party did not know who the car belonged to and agreed to let it stay there.

Sept. 10 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 6100 block of North I-135. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle. They found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and THC edibles. The driver was cited for the traffic violation and was issued a notice to appear for the marijuana and paraphernalia. Officers also issued a notice to appear to the passenger for the marijuana and edibles.

Sept. 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked on a motorist with an inoperable vehicle in the 8200 block of North Broadway. The motorist said his engine blew, and a tow truck and friends were on the way.

Sept. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to the 6600 block of North Kerman to check the welfare of a juvenile after accusation of possible child abuse and neglect. They spoke with the juvenile and a parent. They entered the home and found the accusations to be false.

Sept. 9 — Officer Brandon Green stood by in the 500 block of East 63rd North as cousins worked out a cellphone disagreement.

Sept. 9 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Brandon Green responded to a rider crashing his motorcycle at Jeeps in the 600 block of East 101st North. EMS transported the patient.

Sept. 9 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields took a report from the 6500 block of North West Parkview of a verbal-only argument between two people.

Sept. 9 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. A woman reported her granddaughter ran away from home. Officer entered the juvenile into NCIC as a runaway, but was later located and transported to the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center.

Sept. 9 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center after the juvenile from the above case said she was a victim of human trafficking. Officer determined the events occurred in March and April 2017 in Wichita. He contacted Wichita police and forwarded information to the Exploited and Missing Child Unit.

Sept. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an alarm in the 200 block of West 61st North. It was false.

Sept. 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke about a case on the phone with a man who received two emails from his girlfriend about his property. The emails were submitted as evidence.

Sept. 8 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 6300 block of North Scottsville for a suicidal person. The calling party said the man was making suicidal statements and threw a brick through the windshield of the calling party's car. The man told Diaz he did make statements of killing himself, but did not mean anything by them and did not intend on hurting himself. Officers arrested the man, Raydall White, on a charge of domestic violence disorderly conduct.

Sept 8 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell spoke with a man in the 6300 block of North East Parkview who said his wife took his car keys. Officers spoke with the wife, who said she did not have the keys. The calling party continued to look for his keys.

Sept. 8 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North for a stand by. Two employees with St. Francis Community Services, who contract with the Department of Children and Family, requested officers go with them to a residence when they asked a woman to vacate and leave the children with their father. While at the residence, it was decided the father and the children would go and stay with his aunt.

Sept. 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic where a Wichita woman reported the theft of her vehicle from Park City. There were no suspects.

Sept. 8 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Christopher Shields stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5600 block of North Broadway. The driver fled on foot with officers pursuing and taking him into custody. Officers arrested Dylan Phillip Berger on charges of driving with a revoked license, habitual violation, interference with a law enforcement officer and for two Sedgwick County warrants.

Sept. 8 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious person in the 6500 block of North Randall. The calling party saw a silhouette at his back door, and then someone rang the doorbell. Officer spoke with a woman who said she locked herself out of the house. The calling party let her in.

Sept. 8 — Officers Cody McCall and Tracey Prideaux and Det. Dwight Wilkes responded to an injury accident in the 7800 block of North I-135. A motorcycle went off the road while exiting onto 77th North. EMS responded and examined the driver who refused transport.

Sept. 8 — Officer Tracey Prideaux was dispatched to assist EMS in the 1700 block of East Denver. The calling party woke up and was bleeding from the leg. EMS disregarded the officer.

Sept. 8 — Officer Tracey Prideaux reported the arrest of Benjamin Taylor by Wichita police for a Park City warrant.

Sept. 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a woman at the station about her 19-year-old daughter who was involved in a domestic violence case. Officer said he was unable to discuss the case with the calling party because her daughter was an adult.

Sept. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell observed a traffic violation in the 6100 block of North Jacksonville and stopped the vehicle in the 6900 block of North I-135. Officer discovered an altered tag, which was seized and submitted it as evidence. The driver called for a ride, and the vehicle was left on the shoulder of the road with an orange tow sticker attached.

Sept. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle with a trailer in a no-parking zone in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The owner came out of a restaurant and moved the vehicle.

Sept. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields and a Wichita officer responded to the 1200 block of North Curtis in Wichita and arrested Teka Pardue on a charge of theft.

Sept. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields spoke on the phone with an officer from Shawnee who had an individual with a Park City warrant in custody. The Shawnee officer wanted to check what the warrant was for before releasing the individual. Shields advised the warrant was for traffic charges.

Sept. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Luke Tibbits responded to vandalism in the 6000 block of North Forestor. The calling party heard a noise about 2 p.m. and discovered that a vehicle had hit a “Yield" sign in front of his house.

Sept. 7 — Officer Todd Langford arrested Bryan Tracy when he came to municipal court on a charge of domestic violence criminal trespass. Tracy was also served with a notice to appear.

Sept. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 1300 block of East Denver and spoke with a woman who has custody of her grandchild. She said the child's mother went to the child's school Sept. 6 and tried to take the child out of school. Then the mother called the child's father and told him the child was being held hostage. Officer advised the reporting party should file for a protection-from-abuse order.

Sept. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Todd Langford and Luke Tibbits responded to 53rd North and Broadway to look for a man dressed as a fireman. They were unable to find the man.

Sept. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to kids playing with fireworks across the street from the reporting party in the 500 block of East 63rd North. Officer spoke with the neighbor outside with her kids. She said they were just hitting a piece of wood.

Sept. 7 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Cody McCall and Det. Dwight Wilkes stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6100 block of North I-135. The motorist was driving with a suspended license and an expired tag with an illegal registration sticker. Officers seized and submitted the sticker as evidence, and cited and released the driver.

Sept. 7 — Officer Tracey Prideaux spoke on the phone at the station with a resident requesting extra patrol in the 500 block of East 61st North because drivers were running the stop sign.

Sept. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was advised by the Sedgwick County jail that Ronald Washington turned himself in for a commit and was thought to have a Park City warrant. Officer confirmed the warrant.

Sept. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to assist KHP with a non-injury accident at 61st North and I-135. He could not locate either KHP or an accident. Dispatch told him KHP reported no damage in the accident, and the drivers exchanged information.

Sept. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked an abandoned vehicle with a broken wheel parked in the intersection of Denver and North West Parkview. The driver said while making a right turn, the ball joint broke. She had been assisted in moving the vehicle to the side of the road until she could call a tow truck.

Sept. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed up on a case by returning a phone call to an individual who had spoken with an attorney. The man said his attorney would submit paperwork to the district attorney's office for felony charges.  

Sept. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed up with a man at the station about an embezzled vehicle. The man said his wife and their children, who he had an attempt-to-locate order on, and the vehicle may be in Haysville. Officer contacted Haysville police who located the woman, the children and the vehicle, and cleared them through NCIC. Trimmell transported the resident to Haysville to pick up the vehicle.  

Sept. 6 — Officer Todd Langford contacted a man in the 6300 block of North East Parkview about threatening text messages his wife sent him. Langford said this was a civil matter and officers could not do anything about it. The man said he would get a protection-from-abuse order.

Sept. 6 — Officers Luke Tibbits and Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North to assist St. Francis Community Services with a welfare check of a 2-year-old and her mother. Everything went OK.

Sept. 6 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford stopped in the 1400 block of East Ashford Drive for a vehicle parked in the road with its hazard lights on and the trunk and hood open. A resident said the vehicle belonged to a girl across the street, and officers spoke with her. She came outside to move the car and then wanted to be taken to COMCARE. EMS responded and transported her to St. Joseph Hospital.  

Sept. 6 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford stood by to prevent a disturbance in the 6300 block of North East Parkview. A woman dropped off groceries for her son and picked up items for a trip.

Sept. 6 — Officer Tracey Prideaux spoke with a Barton County deputy regarding a case in which a man contacted them about his property. Officer advised the deputy it was a civil matter.

Sept. 6 — Officers Cody McCall and Tracey Prideaux and Det. Dwight Wilkes responded to the 900 block of East 61st North where a woman said her son was acting out. While speaking with her, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East 63rd North for a person making suicidal statements. The woman told them this was her son, and he was threatening to poison himself. Officers responded to the East 63rd North location and spoke with the man. EMS responded and transported him to St. Francis Hospital.

Sept. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle parked in an empty lot in the 6400 block of North Chisholm Pointe. He spoke with a resident in the next block who said the vehicle belonged to a friend. The resident had the keys and would move the vehicle.

Sept. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a suspicious person in the 1800 block of East Highridge. An off-duty Wichita officer reported a juvenile hanging out in a back yard began acting strange when he saw the officer watching him. The Wichita officer followed the juvenile when a friend picked him up. Officers determined the juvenile was visiting a friend and was told to not go back.

Sept. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Luke Tibbits responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview. A woman said her common law daughter-in-law, with her two children, took the reporting party's vehicle and refused to return it when told to do so. The children's father requested an attempt-to-locate order for all three people to check their welfare. They were entered into NCIC as missing persons.

Sept. 5 — Officer Todd Langford responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A man reported nearly hit a 3-year-old with his vehicle when the child ran across the street. The motorist then got into a verbal argument with another resident. Officer advised the reporting party they could not do anything, as no crime had taken place.

Sept. 5 — Officer Todd Langford responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway where a business reported it had received a forged and fictitious check. Officer collected and submitted security footage, witness statements and other documents as evidence.

Sept. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Todd Langford and Luke Tibbits responded to the 1600 block of East Beaumont. They spoke with three people about a known man coming onto the property and threatening them with a weapon. The suspect would be charged with domestic violence criminal trespass. A notice to appear was also written to serve on the suspect.

Sept. 5 — Officer Blake Sanchez arrested Justin Reed Slayden at the station for two Sedgwick County warrants. Slayden was transported to the Sedgwick County jail.

Sept. 5 — Officer Blake Sanchez and a Bel Aire officer responded to the 1700 block of East Denver where Wichita police had asked for a welfare check of a possible suicidal person. Officers spoke with the homeowners, who said they had never heard of the woman. Officers did not find her.

Sept. 5 — Officer Cody McCall and Det. Dwight Wilkes found a vehicle in the 500 block of East 69th North. They contacted the occupants of the home, and 18-year-old male and a 15-year-old female, and realized they were about to engage in some sort of sexual activity. The female was released to her mother, and the male was released at the scene, pending further investigation. The case was forwarded to the Exploited and Missing Child Unit.

Sept. 5 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez and Det. Dwight Wilkes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 9100 block of North I-135. They arrested Jonathan Mckinsey for a Ford County warrant.

Sept. 5 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to an alarm in the 1700 block of East 61st North. It was false.

Sept. 2 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6800 block of North Grove where a woman reported being physically assaulted by her common law spouse. Diaz located and arrested Niles P. Loper on a charge of domestic violence battery. Photos were taken, but the woman refused medical attention.

Sept. 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a non-injury accident on private property in the 900 block of East 61st North.

Sept. 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted KHP with a vehicle pursuit southbound on I-135 from mile marker 30 in Harvey County. When the vehicle entered Sedgwick County, officer set up spike sticks at 6900 N. I-135. KHP and Sedgwick County sheriff spiked the vehicle at 85th North and I-135. The vehicle exited the highway at 77th North and continued into Valley Center.

Sept. 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Wichita animal control with a potentially vicious dog in the 1500 block of East Denver. The dog was tranquilized and taken to a vet.

Sept. 2 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke on the phone with a victim from an earlier assault. The woman said she did not want to press charges. Officer said she had no say in the matter because it was domestic violence.

Sept. 2 — Officer Todd Langford responded to fraud at a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway. A man passed two worthless checks, each for $300, on July 14 and July 16. Officer issued a notice to appear for the suspect.

Sept. 2 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview to check the welfare of a woman after her mother called and asked for details about an earlier incident. Officers were unable to contact anyone at the residence. The mother said she had contacted her daughter that afternoon.

Sept. 2 — Officer Todd Langford confirmed a Park City warrant for Monice Ramirez, who had been arrested by an outside agency.

Sept. 2 — Officers Brandon Green, Christopher Shields and Todd Langford responded to the 2700 block of East Fairchild Court and broke up a party. They contacted the father who came home to supervise.

Sept. 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was dispatched to an alarm in the 1200 block of East Bearhill Circle. The alarm company disregarded him upon arrival.

Sept. 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell monitored school zone traffic in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Sept. 1 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a fraud report from the 1100 block of East Evanston. A woman said someone in California opened a Macy's account using her identity. She had not suffered a loss.

Sept. 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a semitrailer in a no-parking zone in the 800 block of East Connolly Court. He spoke with the driver who moved the truck.

Sept. 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell provided traffic control at 53rd North and Broadway while a landscape company completed work in the 300 block of East 53rd North,

Sept. 1 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview and spoke with a man and a woman about a domestic violence call. The man said the woman was upset because she wanted to go see a friend, and he would not let her take his mother's vehicle. There was no evidence to support domestic violence. The man and a child left the house.

Sept. 1 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in checking for a wanted person in the 6100 block of North Judson. They were unable to find the individual.

Sept. 1 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford responded to the 6300 block of North West Parkview and arrested Tandi Dunning for a Wichita warrant.

Sept. 1 — Officers Brandon Green and Todd Langford responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview and spoke with a man and a woman about domestic violence. The man said the woman went to her friend's house in Haysville. The woman's friend called to report domestic violence, but there was no evidence to support it. The man and a child left the house.

Sept. 1 — Officers Brandon Green, Christopher Shields and Todd Langford responded to a suspicious person in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The calling party said someone was trying to open his locked screen door. The porch light was on, and no one was there. Officers were on the street when the call came in and found no one. The calling party asked for more patrol.

Sept. 1 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to the 1600 block of East Denver for a welfare check. The calling party wanted officers to check her boyfriend because she hadn't heard from him in a couple of days. They spoke with the man, who said he would call the woman.

Sept. 1 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis responded to a noise complaint near Grove and Gary. A resident reported a loud, motorized tricycle driving in the area. Officers did not find the vehicle.  

Sept. 1 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis responded to the 2700 block of East Fairchild where a vehicle was reportedly driving through the neighborhood with its headlights off. They did not find the vehicle.

Sept. 1 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis responded to the 6600 block of North I-135 for a possible drunken driver. They did not find the vehicle.

Sept. 1 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to a suspicious person in the 1300 block of East Evanston. A woman heard a loud bang outside her house. Officer checked the area but did not find anything.

Sept. 1 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to assist Sedgwick County fire with a patient in the 5900 block of North Hartford Court. He was disregarded upon arrival.

Sept. 1 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis responded to an unknown call for police in the 6200 block of North East Parkview, based upon a wireless position. A woman called 911, said she needed help and hung up. Officers circulated the area several times but did not find anyone.
