Sept. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview where a person reported his wife took the car and kids to Haysville to pick up a friend then to Oklahoma against his wishes. This was a civil matter.

Sept. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 100 block of East 53rd North where a man's live-in girlfriend removed property from a storage unit. Diaz spoke to the woman who said the property was owned and paid for by both parties. The calling party was advised to contact a civil attorney.

Sept. 4 — Officer Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to 1941 E. 61st North for suspicious activity that occurred in another jurisdiction. The information was passed on to investigations.

Sept. 4 — Officer Luke Tibbits confirmed the arrest of Kenneth Kneisler by the KHP in Butler County.

Sept. 4 — Officer Todd Langford talked on the phone with two people about an earlier incident in the 6300 block of North East Parkview.

Sept. 4 — Officer Luke Tibbits and Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Kechi police in the 400 block of North Oliver by patrolling the area looking for a vehicle related to a gas runoff.

Sept. 4 — Officers Luke Tibbits and Todd Langford and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a suspicious person in the 5900 block of North Kerman.  The calling party heard shots east of the residence.  Officers checked the area and found hunters outside the city limits.

Sept. 4 — Officers Luke Tibbits and Todd Langford and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North where a man reported hearing his neighbor allegedly call him a name. The officers spoke with the neighbor who said she didn't say anything to the calling party.

Sept. 4 — Officer Todd Langford responded to the 1800 block of East Highridge where a man reported his neighbor standing on his property and staring at his house. The calling party said it had occurred six or seven times. He just wanted the incident documented for future reference.

Sept. 4 — Officer Blake Sanchez returned a call to a woman about her runaway daughter being in Park City. The woman said her daughter was staying at a house across the street from her ex-husband but did not know the address. She hung up when the officer said that he couldn't find her daughter without an address.

Sept. 4 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez and Det. Dwight Wilkes stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 200 block of East 61st North. They arrested Eber Ontiveros on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal window tint.

Sept. 4 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Cody McCall and Det. Dwight Wilkes stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5100 block of North I-135. They arrested Darryl Lavelle Reid on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 4 — Officers Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez and Det. Dwight Wilkes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 8000 block of North I-135. Officers performed a consent search of the vehicle but nothing was found.

Sept. 3 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 4900 block of North Wyndham Court for a sudden death.

Sept. 3 — Sgt. Wolff, Sedgwick County sheriff and Bel Aire police responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview for a welfare check. A caller from Haysville said her friend said her husband was suicidal and had a gun. The man denied the report and seemed to be concerned that his wife was making up stories to her friend in Haysville. He left to go stay with his mother out of town.

Sept. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz returned a call to a woman who had questions about a case involving her daughter. Officer said he could not discuss the case with her because her daughter was an adult.

Sept. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6800 block of North. Grove to stand by while a woman gathered personal belongings. The officers met the woman in the 6300 block of North Grove and were told they were not needed. The officers contacted the homeowners who said they would contact the woman to make arrangements, and they didn't foresee any problems.

Sept. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of East Cedar Tree. An employee with a group home reported a resident was defiant and not taking her medications. The officers spoke to the resident, and she agreed to take her medications.

Sept. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 2500 block of East Ventnor and assisted Wichita police by checking the welfare of two juveniles staying with their grandparents. Both juveniles were found to be in good health and good spirits. The information was relayed to Wichita police.

Sept. 3 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a loud music complaint in the 6200 block of North West Parkview. He checked the area and did not find the source.

Sept. 3 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North and arrested Jonathan Denton for a Sedgwick County warrant.

Sept. 3 — Officer Todd Langford responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North where a man reported a woman was getting into a truck to leave, saw him getting his dogs and called him names. He was advised to call the police anytime there is an incident.

Sept. 3 — Sgt. Keith Goodall spoke with a man at the station who wanted to file a defamation of character report against The Ark Valley News and Park City police for listing his full name in an April 20 edition of The Ark Valley News where it said he was arrested.

Sept. 3 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Tracey Prideaux assisted EMS in the 5900 block of North Harford Court.

Sept. 3 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Tracey Prideaux responded to assist EMS in the 6500 block of North Kingman. They were disregarded upon arrival.

Sept. 3 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Blake Sanchez assisted Valley Center police in the 100 block of East Fifth with a suspicious person. They did not locate anyone, and Sanchez was disregarded before arrival.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was dispatched to the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive to assist a person in a wheelchair who was stuck. Officer was disregarded after the individual called back to say he was unstuck and wanted to cancel the call.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell found two boxes in the road in the 1400 block of East 53rd North. He took them to a nearby business that said it was their equipment.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to larceny in the 5900 block of North Newport. An unknown person reportedly dumped a chair and ottoman in the reporting party's construction dumpster. Both the reporting party and another person remembered seeing the furniture sitting in a driveway along the north side of Cedar Tree between Hydraulic and Millsboro.

Aug. 31 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a vehicle stop in the 6100 block of North I-135.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle parked on the shoulder in the 6400 block of North I-135. The driver said he ran out of gas and help was on the way.

Aug. 31 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6800 block of North Longmont where a wanted individual was reported to be. No one answered the door, but officers heard possible movement behind it.

Aug. 31 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz noticed a vehicle belonging to a wanted man parked in a driveway in the 1800 block of East Fairchild. They checked that block and the 6600 block of North Longmont for the man, but no one answered the door.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell spoke with a woman in the 1800 block of East Fairchild about a wanted man. She said she had not seen him.

Aug. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed up at the station and in the 2100 block of East Village Estates on an earlier call about furniture left in a construction dumpster in the 5900 block of North Newport. A woman told the officer she and her boyfriend had set out the furniture but she did not throw it in the dumpster. Officer called the boyfriend who said he did not throw the furniture in the dumpster, but would remove it.

Aug. 31 — Officers Brandon Green and Todd Langford responded to the 1800 block of East Ventnor to check for a vehicle believed to be occupied by people going in and out of a drug house. Officers were not able to contact the occupants.

Aug. 31 — Officer Brandon Green stopped a motorist for a traffic violation and smelled marijuana in the 800 block of East 77th North. He searched the vehicle but found nothing.

Aug. 31 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis stopped a motorist for having a tag not assigned to the vehicle in the 5000 block of North I-135. They discovered the drive was driving with a suspended license, had no proof of insurance, was driving with an illegal tag and with a tag not assigned to the vehicle. They seized the tag and submitted it as evidence. The driver left the vehicle on the side of the road.

Aug. 30 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a lost or stolen truck tag from the 5900 block of North Prospect.

Aug. 30 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle in a no-parking area of the 6100 block of North Jacksonville. He impounded the vehicle because it was parked such that it was a traffic hazard. The tag was seized because the owner said her vehicle was stolen in February. The vehicle had been recovered, but it was possible this tag may have been stolen off the vehicle after it was recovered.  

Aug. 30 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was dispatched to assist a motorist whose vehicle ran out of gas on I-135 near 53rd North. KHP handled the call.

Aug. 30 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of a truck tag being stolen from the 4800 block of North Broadway sometime between March 15 and today.

Aug. 30 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 1600 block of East Ravena where a woman had passed out on the calling party's porch. The woman was OK and did not need assistance.

Aug. 30 — Officer Brandon Green assisted a woman at the station who received suicidal statements from her boyfriend via text and voicemail. Wichita police had asked her to come to Park City and show officers the messages. The woman was passing through Park City, and her boyfriend had never been here.

Aug. 30 — Officer Brandon Green reported the arrest of Shaun Jones Jr. by Wichita police for a Park City warrant.

Aug. 30 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis responded to a business in the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive for a possible suicidal employee. Officers went to the employee's home in the 9600 block of North Oliver and spoke with him and his mother. He was not suicidal.

Aug. 30 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis confirmed warrants for Christopher Rather and Garrett Lounsbury, both of whom had been arrested by the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.

Aug. 30 — Officers Cody McCall, Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 10000 block of North I-135. They arrested Marco Ortega-Hernandez on charges of DUI, transporting an open container of alcohol and driving without a valid license.

Aug. 29 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to an alarm in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. It was false.

Aug. 29 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Blake Sanchez responded to the 6400 block of North Wendell for a man walking around looking in back yards. They spoke with him at his residence in the 6400 block of North Tarrytown. He had been looking for his cat but did not look in anyone's back yard.

Aug. 29 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was given a message to call a man about his family member's clothing and luggage from a sudden death the day before. The man was told police had collected the items.

Aug. 29 — Officer Chuck Trimmell spoke with a resident at the station who wanted telephone numbers from the phone of a family member who died the day before. Officer said he was unable to provide that. Officer spoke with the deceased's wife and told her how to retrieve his property.

Aug. 29 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an alarm in the 6600 block of North Kerman. It was false.

Aug. 29 — Officer Chuck Trimmell answered questions on the phone for a resident about operating an ATV 4-wheeler truck on city streets. He advised ordinances vary from city to city.

Aug. 29 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an assault in the 200 block of East 53rd North. A woman reported getting into a physical altercation with her mother, who had visible bite marks on her hand. The suspect had underlying medical issues unrelated to this case and was transported to Wesley Medical Center. Judge Beall authorized issuing a uniform criminal complaint, notice to appear and release from the hospital.

Aug. 29 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway where a business reported an unknown man stole a pair of boots. An employee provided a vehicle description and tag number of the suspect's vehicle. As officer left the scene, Park City dispatched that the vehicle had been stolen from Wichita.

Aug. 29 — Officers Cody McCall, Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 6800 block of North I-135. They arrested Kyonna Jones for a Wichita warrant.

Aug. 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz reported the arrest of Rebecca R. Moore by Sedgwick County sheriff for a Park City warrant.

Aug. 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz, Sgt. Richard Wolff, Det. Dwight Wilkes and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive for a sudden death.  

Aug. 28 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 1400 block of East Charleston where a resident wanted to talk with officers about a civil issue. There was a dispute about payment of a bus ticket and whether or not an individual should ride the bus to Oklahoma due to medical reasons.

Aug. 28 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a woman at the station. She applied for a job listed in the newspaper and then received a fake check from the job. Officer submitted the check to property and evidence.

Aug. 28 — Officers Christopher Shields and Todd Langford stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 5300 block of North Broadway. They arrested Josue Hernandez-Sanchez for a Sedgwick County warrant. The vehicle was left on site with permission of the owner.

Aug. 28 — Officer Todd Langford assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 53rd North and Broadway with a suspicious person pulling scrap metal and pipes from the construction area. The suspect said a construction worker told him it was OK to take the material. Deputy told him to get the worker's phone number and leave for the night.

Aug. 28 — Officer Todd Langford took a report of a non-injury accident in the 900 block of East 53rd North.

Aug. 28 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 6000 block of North Hattan Drive. It was false.

Aug. 28 — Officers Cody McCall and Andrew Corlis spoke with a man at the station about a sudden death earlier in the day. The caller believed the deceased was a relative and wanted to know which mortuary he was taken to. He was referred to the Sedgwick County coroner.
