Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to assist EMS in the 5100 block of North Broadway.

Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked on a semitractor parked in the road in the 400 block of East 69th North. The driver needed information, and the officer provided it.

Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1000 block of East Evanston where a woman reported her daughter was having a psychotic breakdown. Officer transported the daughter to St. Joseph's Hospital for a self-commit.

Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Wichita police while at St. Joseph's Hospital in the 1500 block of South Clifton for another call. A woman wanted assistance from hospital security because her 8-year-old foster child would not get out of the vehicle and come inside. Security said she would have to call Wichita police. Officer went outside to monitor and tried to collect information. The woman became upset and said she was not going to give Trimmell all this information and then give it again to Wichita police when they arrived. She decided to wait for Wichita police.

Aug. 10 — Officer Todd Langford spoke with a resident about an iPod he found in the 6100 block of North East Parkview while walking his dog. The iPod had a name on the back but the owner could not be located. Officer submitted the iPod as found property.

Aug. 10 — Officer Todd Langford spoke told a woman to come to the station and sign a notice to appear. She came in and signed the notice, advising she had court at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7.

Aug. 10 — Officer Todd Langford responded to a suspicious person in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said a man parked across the street has a protection from abuse order against him. Officer did not find any such PFA and advised the calling party.

Aug. 10 — Officer Todd Langford told residents in the 6100 block of North Judson to move their extension cord that ran across the street out of the road.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Todd Langford responded to the 4800 block of North Wyndham to check the welfare of a woman on her deck. She was OK.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted a motorist with an inoperable vehicle at 53rd North and Broadway by jump-starting the vehicle.

Aug. 10 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 400 block of East 61st North. A manager received wage garnishment papers for a person who does not work there. The manager wanted the individual trespassed, but she was not on the scene.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall contacted a resident in the 5100 block of North Valentine about a civil matter that occurred in Wichita.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Cody McCall responded to the 1800 block of East Charleston. A man was concerned that his brother was heading to this area from Colorado. The brother was troubled and likely had warrants.

Aug. 10 — Officers Cody McCall, Chuck Trimmell and Tracey Prideaux responded to the 900 block of East 61st North for an unknown call. The calling party said a woman who she thought had a warrant was at her residence in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. Officers confirmed the suspect, Aliesha Helm, had a warrant through Harper County. They went to the residence and arrested Helm for the warrant. They also issued Helm a notice to appear for drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a non-injury, three-car accident in the 5400 block of North Chuzy Drive.

Aug. 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a domestic violence call in the 1200 block of East Village Estates. An individual was parked in the driveway and ringing the doorbell of the residence. There was no domestic violence. The individual was served with a protection-from-abuse order and the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office was notified.

Aug. 9 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6400 block of North West Parkview for a welfare check. The calling party had not been able to contact his grandmother since Aug. 6. Officers entered the unlocked residence but did not find the woman. While one of them talked with the calling party on the phone, the woman arrived. She advised she was OK and would call her grandson.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of East 63rd North where a man was throwing things around the residence. The homeowner said he wanted the man out of his home, so the man packed his belongings and left.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a larceny in the 200 block of West 53rd North. The calling party said someone removed her tag off the car while she was in the area. Officer entered the tag into NCIC as stolen.

Aug. 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green transported Damiana Beaver from the Harvey County jail to the Sedgwick County jail for a Park City warrant.

Aug. 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to a general alarm in the 1500 block of East 61st North. It was false.

Aug. 9 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North and assisted a woman in serving a protection-from-abuse order against a man.

Aug. 9 — Officers Cody McCall, Blake Sanchez and Tracey Prideaux stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 9100 block of North I-135. Officers seized the tag, which was not assigned to this vehicle, illegal and altered. During a consent search, one pill of Alprazolam was recovered and submitted as found property. The driver was charged with traffic violations.

Aug. 9 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Blake Sanchez and Cody McCall stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the 6100 block of North Broadway. They arrested Matthew Denning on a charge of DUI and for a Wichita warrant.

Aug. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Wichita police in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville in trying to contact two individuals to tell them to pick up a vehicle.

Aug. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell reported the arrest of Cameron Cassidy by

Wichita police for a Park City warrant.

Aug. 8 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 1200 block of East Bearhill after a resident complained online about construction workers on both sides of her home repeatedly using her water. Officers were unable to contact the woman at home, so they left a voicemail message for her to call 911 when she gets home and an officer would contact her.

Aug. 8 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North. The manager wanted a guest removed because she had not checked out by the required time. When officers arrived, the guest was gathering up her belongings, and management gave her more time to do so.

Aug. 8 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a suspicious person at 61st North and I-135. He spoke with a man on the northbound on-ramp hitchhiking to Salina en route to Maine. Officer also checked another man on the northbound off-ramp who was trying to get to the south Wichita/K-15 area. Neither man was wanted.

Aug. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Offices Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to the 6200 block of North Jacksonville. A woman told officers she was talking with a man when he started to have a seizure. EMS and Sedgwick County fire arrived and transported the patient.

Aug. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Brandon Green and Todd Langford responded to the 2600 block of East Cambridge for a welfare check. They contacted a woman and told her to call her husband.

Aug. 8 — Officer Todd Langford responded to the 1600 block of East Lancaster and asked residents if they had seen two runaway female juveniles. The residents told the officer they had not seen either girl since July 14.

Aug. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 3100 block of East 69th North where two men reportedly ran from a field, got into a vehicle and left. The calling party thought this was odd. Officer did not find anything in the area.

Aug. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Brandon Green and Todd Langford responded to the motel in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The business reported earlier today that a woman did not leave when asked. Officers wrote a no trespass notice that both parties signed. The woman was given a ride to the truck stop where a friend was coming to pick her up.

Aug. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Todd Langford assisted a motorist by pushing a vehicle into a parking lot at 61st North and Jacksonville.  

Aug. 8 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green responded to 77th North and Hydraulic to check the area for something that smelled like it was rotting. They were unable to locate the source of the odor.

Aug. 8 — Officers Cody McCall, Blake Sanchez and Andrew Corlis assisted KHP by responding to a motorcycle going off the road in the 4700 block of North I-135. The area was searched, but no accident was found.

Aug. 8 — Officers Cody McCall, Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez responded to the 5500 block of North Chuzy Drive for an alarm. It was false.

Aug. 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by looking for an individual in the 6400 block of North Randall. He did not find the person.

Aug. 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of a motorist scraping a yellow pole as the motorist entered a parking lot in the 1600 block of East 61st North

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 7600 block of North Broadway for a man kneeling in the median and holding his chest.  

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a larceny in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A woman said her nephew took 87 Klonopin pills Aug. 4 without her permission. She had a voicemail message of her nephew admitting to taking the pills. She wants to pursue charges.

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North where a man had a seizure and hit his head on a coffee table. EMS responded and transported the patient.

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious person in the 1800 block of East Highridge. A woman reported a man walking his dog was standing in front of her neighbor's house. Officer spoke with the man and determined he lived in the neighborhood.

Aug. 7 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Cody McCall and Blake Sanchez stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of East 61st North. Officers could not properly identify the driver, who did not have any form of identification. They arrested the driver on a charge of failure to identify.

Aug. 7 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to a hold-up alarm in the 6200 block of North Broadway. It was false.

Aug. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a business in the 6800 block of North Broadway after noticing an open gate. The building was secure.  

Aug. 6 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a burglary in the 1600 block of East Beaumont. The calling party said a known associate entered the house through a dog door and took his vehicle without permission sometime around 2 p.m. Officer entered the vehicle into NCIC, but the victim did not want to press charges.

Aug. 6 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to suspicious people in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A resident reported seeing a group of juveniles who appeared to have been drinking around a car. Officers spoke with juveniles in the parking lot who were attending a wedding across the street. There was no evidence they were drinking. Other juveniles left prior to the officers' arrival.

Aug. 6 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall followed up on the auto burglary case from the 1600 block of East Beaumont. The victim reported getting a phone call from the suspect who said he could pick up his car in the 4800 block of North Hillside. The owner picked up the vehicle and wanted officers to serve the suspect with a no-trespass order, which he was. Officers cleared the vehicle from NCIC.

Aug. 6 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 2600 block of East Fairchild where a woman reported a man violation a protection from stalking order by trying to pass messages to her through her stepmother. Officers were unable to locate the man.
