Park City staff to occupy new Administration Center this week By Taylor Messick Last Updated: July 13, 2017 The Park City council approved a few items of business at its July 11 meeting, but the most important news is that the new Administration Center will open on July 18. The old city hall building closed on Thursday and staff began making the move. The July 11 council meeting was the final meeting to be held at the old building. The council approved the hiring of janitorial and security monitoring teams for the new Administration Center. A project to replace irrigation systems for the Lakewood Heights addition along 53rd Street North, east of Hydraulic was also approved at the meeting. The project was agreed upon as a condition of the 53rd Street project when pipes had to be removed from the right of way. Apex Irrigation will be hired at a cost of $7,200. Other items that were approved included a zoning change to a piece of property in the Broadway Heights addition and changes to seat belt ticket fines. Seat belt tickets will rise from $10 to $30 in accordance with a new state law. A special meeting for a 2018 budget workshop was set for 6 p.m. July 18 in the training room at the new Administration Center. Council president John Lehnherr was absent. |
