WALTER ROBINSON

Walter Stuart Robinson, 98, of Wichita, died July 8, 2017. He was a retired dairy farmer.

He was born Sept. 26, 1918, on the family farm near Nashville, Kan., the son of Walter and Mary (Inslee) Robinson. He graduated from Zenda High School and from Kansas State University with a degree in agriculture. He married Mary Armeda Douthett on Aug. 20, 1944, in Isabel. He was a member of the Presbyterian churches in Nashville and Kingman. He served on the school board, on the AMPI Board of Directors and was treasurer of the Presbyterian Church in Nashville.

Survivors include his wife, Wichita; son Robert (Janet) Robinson, Valley Center; daughters Janette (Dan) Bonine, Great Bend, and Carolyn (Tom) Banion, Denver; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m., with funeral service at 10:30 a.m. July 14, both at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Nashville Cemetery. Memorials to First Presbyterian Church, Kingman or the First United Methodist Church TV Ministry, Wichita.
