June 23 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green saw a vehicle in the 6600 block of North Longmont that matched the description of one from an incident last week. They spoke with the driver, Joshua Jones, who was asleep in the front seat and had a suspended driver's license. Officers saw open containers in the back seat and smelled consumed alcoholic beverages on the man's person. They arrested Jones on charges of DUI and possession of narcotics.

June 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis helped a motorist stranded in the 5300 block of North Broadway put a tire back on her car after it came off while she was driving.

June 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Andrew Corlis responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North where a hotel clerk reported two customers had canceled their reservation because they smelled marijuana. Officers checked the halls and did not smell any marijuana.

June 22 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 5800 block of North Kerman for a suspicious person. The calling party said a minivan was parked in the driveway of her neighbor on Kerman Court. Officer spoke with the woman who was the cleaning lady and had permission to be there. He verified that with the homeowner.

June 22 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a larceny report at the station. A resident in the 2500 block of East Burlington said someone entered his unlocked vehicle overnight and took approximately $2 in coins.

June 22 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped in the 6000 block of North I-135 to check two vehicles parked on the shoulder. One vehicle had a flat tire, and the other was parked behind it for traffic control.  

June 22 — Officers Chuck Trimmell, Edwyn Diaz and Christopher Shields responded to an assault in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The calling party reported a couple arguing in their front yard and the woman grabbed the man's arm. The man said the woman did not touch her and he did not touch her. The woman said she did not touch the man. Neither person had any visible injuries. Officers will present the case to the city prosecutor for possible charges.

June 22 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall contacted Derby police detectives who found a stolen vehicle in a parking lot in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. Officers confirmed the vehicle and tag were stolen through Wichita. The registered owner was contacted, and her sister came to pick up the vehicle.

June 22 — Officers Todd Langford, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall contacted the calling party from the above call in the 900 block of Connolly Court who said there was a red vehicle stolen from the same incident. The reporting party said a woman came from the neighborhood and tried to get into the stolen car. The sister of the car's owner, who was there to pick up the vehicle, and her friend confronted the other woman, later identified as Ami Webber. Webber got into the other vehicle, and they went to her house in the 2400 block of East Menlo in Wichita. Wichita police arrested Webber for a Sedgwick County warrant. Park City officers transported her to the Sedgwick County jail.

June 22 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6300 block of North Upchurch where two vehicles were driving around slowly. The reporting party thought it was odd because of recent activity in the area. Officer circulated the area but did not locate the vehicles.

June 22 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux responded to an alarm in the 6400 block of North Chisholm Pointe. It was false.

June 22 — Officer Tracey Prideaux assisted Valley Center police with a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Ford. It led to the arrest by Valley Center police of an individual for warrants and traffic violations.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny in the 6500 block of Upchurch Court. A resident said someone entered his unlocked vehicle between 8 p.m. June 20 and 7:58 a.m. today. The suspect took a GPS, $2 in change and a 6-inch knife. Total loss estimated at $162. Officer collected and submitted evidence.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny in the 2600 block of East Fairchild. A resident said someone entered his father's unlocked vehicle between 7:30 p.m. June 20 and 7:45 a.m. today, removing the key and fob for the vehicle, and possibly tampering with the ignition interlock device. Total loss estimated at $75. Officer collected and submitted evidence.  

June 21 — Sgt. Richard Wolff recovered a vehicle in the 6800 block of North Upchurch that was stolen sometime between 10 p.m. June 20 and 8:27 a.m. today from the 1700 block of East Charleston. The vehicle had been unlocked with the keys left inside. There was no damage. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from the 2600 block of East Cambridge of someone entering the calling party's unlocked vehicle sometime between 5:30 p.m. June 20 and 7:15 a.m. today, going through the glove boxes and center console. The woman said nothing was missing; she just wanted police to know someone went through the vehicle.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from the 2100 block of East Charleston of someone entering the calling party's vehicle sometime between 11:30 p.m. June 20 and 7:30 a.m. today and going through the glove box and sunglass storage compartment. Nothing was missing.

June 21 — Sgt. Richard Wolff placed tow stickers on two vehicles in the 1800 block of East Charleston that had not moved in several weeks.

June 21 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a larceny in the 2600 block of East Cambridge. Someone entered the reporting party's unlocked vehicle between 6 p.m. June 20 and 10 a.m. today and took IDs, a debit card and $55 in cash.

June 21 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a larceny in the 2600 block of East Burlington. Someone entered the reporting party's unlocked company truck between 10 p.m. June 20 and 10 a.m. today and took a GPS valued at $150.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from the 6300 block of North Scottsville of someone entering two unlocked vehicles and going through the glove boxes and center consoles. Nothing was missing. The reporting party believed this happened sometime around 1 a.m. this morning when the dog started barking. The suspect also opened a storage shed but nothing seemed to be missing.

June 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a home accident in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The reporting party dove onto his bed and hit his head on the headboard, causing a 4- to 5-inch laceration in his forehead. EMS transported him to St. Francis.

June 21 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to an alarm in the 6700 block of North Ulysses. It was false.

June 21 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a larceny in the 2400 block of East Ventnor. The reporting party said someone entered his two unlocked vehicles overnight before 4 a.m. and took approximately $150 to $180 in loose change. The suspect left a flashlight, which was collected and submitted as evidence.

June 21 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 6600 block of North Longmont. The calling party told officers he honked at a woman blocking his path of travel. The woman slowly moved, gave the man a nasty look and began following him. The calling party turned onto Longmont, where he and the woman got out of their vehicles and got into an argument. Officers advised both parties to not get into arguments with strangers.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to suspicious people in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The owner of a roofing company saw two men pretending to work for his company. Officer checked the area but found neither the suspects nor their vehicle.

June 21 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green spoke with a couple in the 6400 block of North Scottsville who said their vehicles had been going through between 10:30 p.m. June 20 and 5:40 a.m. today. Nothing appeared to have been taken from either vehicle.

June 21 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green confirmed a warrant for Bryant Arroyo, who had been arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County jail by another agency.

June 21 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green confirmed a warrant for Ben J. Campbell, who had been arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County jail by another agency.

June 21 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux responded to a report of people getting into a house in the 5800 block of North Kerman. Officers spoke with air conditioning workers who provided proof from the owner about them working late.

June 21 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux responded to a person standing outside a home in the 2400 block of East Gary. The caller could not provide a specific address, and officers did not find anything suspicious.

June 21 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in looking for a possible drunken driver traveling south in the 12300 block of North I-135. They did not find the vehicle.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz picked up and turned in a surveillance video from the 5600 block of North Broadway.

June 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell spoke with a man in the station who wanted his firearms returned. Officer explained that the firearms could not be returned at this time because of the no-contact order in place until the case is resolved. Officer gave the man a copy of property and evidence receipts showing what property is being stored.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to the 5600 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party has been staying with her half-sister for three months. She was tired of them yelling at her for no reason and wanted to go to COMCARE to self-admit. Trimmell transported her to COMCARE.

June 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was in the area of the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive and stopped a man carrying a bag and a backpack. The man said he was looking for his three dogs while walking from the motel to the area of 45th North and Old Lawrence Road where his vehicle was inoperable. The man had a cut on his leg with a piece of metal stuck in it. He said he tripped and fell in the 800 block of East 61st North. EMS responded to clean the wound, but he refused transport.

June 20 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz were informed by Chief Phil Bostian of a man pulling a suitcase in the area of the 6200 block of North Broadway. Officers responded to the area and checked the welfare of the man and a woman who was also in the area. The woman left with friends, and Diaz gave the man a ride to Fifth and Meridian in Valley Center.

June 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway for an abandoned vehicle in a parking lot of a business. The business asked the officer to contact the owner and ask that the vehicle be moved before it was towed. Officer asked Valley Center police to contact the owner.

June 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell contacted a man from an earlier call in the 4100 block of North Old Lawrence Road who said his dogs had been found. Officer found the man in possession of a stolen notebook with a business logo and a Kansas ID card belonging to a different person. The business did not want to prosecute the theft.

June 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall spoke with an individual from a trucking company in the 6200 block of North Broadway about a semitractor parked on its lot for two years.

June 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 5800 block of North Prospect for an occupation accident. He took a report of an employee who fell from a ladder while working on a trailer.  

June 20 — Officers Todd Langford and Brandon Green returned property to its owner at the station.

June 20 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to an alarm in the 5600 block of North Broadway. It was false.

June 20 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. It was false.

June 20 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields stopped a vehicle in the 6800 block of North I-135 for multiple traffic violations. They arrested Jason McAdam on a charge of DUI and cited him for the traffic violations. The vehicle was left on the shoulder at his request.

June 20 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 2500 block of East Fairchild to contact a man about whom was driving his vehicle. The vehicle had been in an accident and Wichita police could not find the driver. It was determined the vehicle had been stolen sometime after 11:30 p.m. today. The vehicle was released to the owner.

June 20 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a larceny in the 6400 block of North Randall Road. A couple reported two vehicles had been broken into and several items were taken. There was no damage to the vehicles, and the estimated value of the items taken was $340.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 300 block of East 61st North to check a motorist who stopped for the light and appeared to be asleep. They were unable to find the vehicle.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a vandalism report at the station. The reporting party said his company van had been vandalized June 17 while it was at an event. Photos were submitted.

June 19 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a runaway in the 1400 block of East Cloverdale Drive. A woman said her 17-year-old granddaughter left around 1 a.m. this morning. Officer followed up at several locations but did not find the juvenile. She was entered as a runaway.

June 19 — Sgt. Richard Wolff spoke with a resident in the 6000 block of North Broadway about Facebook harassment that happened in Wichita. Officer provided a number for the case desk.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored a call to assist EMS in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive.

June 19 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1200 block of East 85th North. It belonged to a person training a K-9.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz, Sgt. Richard Wolff and Det. Dwight Wilkes responded to a burglary in the 6100 block of North East Parkview. Entry was gained though a bathroom window. Photos were taken and prints were submitted. Loss of a window air conditioner valued at about $120.

June 19 — Sgt. Richard Wolff spoke with a resident at the station about the swimsuit regulations at Saddlebrook. Officer said if it was not a public nudity situation, then contact the homeowners association for information.

June 19 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 900 block of East 61st North. The calling party reported a woman came into the restaurant saying she had been walking from Colorado and needed help. Officers spoke with a man and a woman who said they are trying to get to Salina. Officers gave suggestions as to how to get there.

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted KHP with a non-injury accident in the 6100 block of North I-135.

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive.

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to disorderly conduct in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A woman reported on behalf of her juvenile son that another juvenile called him explicit names and threw a rock at him. She wanted the incident documented and did not want to pursue charges.

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police with an alarm in the 700 block of West Greenfield, Valley Center. It was false.

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a home in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The homeowner said it was his friend's vehicle.  

June 19 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police with a welfare check in the 400 block of North Meeds Drive, Valley Center. A person had posted suicidal comments on Facebook. The person said she didn't want to harm herself.

June 19 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Tracey Prideaux responded to the 2500 block of West 53rd North to assist Valley Center police with a disturbance. The Valley Center officer responded to the disturbance and was put out in trouble. Sedgwick County sheriff and officers from Wichita, Bel Aire and Maize also responded to assist.

June 19 — Officer Tracey Prideaux responded to an auto theft in the 5600 block of North Broadway. Someone took a Harley-Davidson motorcycle sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight.
