May 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff drove by a residence in the 1200 block of West Sullivan Circle looking for a runaway juvenile out of Park City. They did not locate the runaway, but gathered information as to her location.

May 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to disorderly conduct in the 2200 block of East 61st North. The calling party confronted a man after he kicked at his dog. During the argument, the man lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun in a holster. The calling party felt threatened, left and called police.

May 28 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to vandalism in the 6500 block of North East Parkview. Someone broke out a window in the building. There was no entry and no theft. Loss estimated at $250.

May 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps stood by while a man gathered his personal property from a residence in the 500 block of East 63rd North.

May 28 — Sgt. Richard Wolf, Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 2500 block of East Egret Flight Court to look for a runaway from the Wichita Children's Home. They were unable to contact anyone.

May 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz received additional information about a case from the 1200 block of West Sullivan Circle.

May 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Derby police in the 2600 block of East Cambridge by contacting a resident whose wife had been stopped by Derby police and needed to be picked up.

May 28 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to an argument between a man and a woman in the 6100 block of North Forester. During the argument, the woman grabbed the calling party by the shirt and ripped it. Officers arrested Jennifer Yazzie on a charge of domestic violence battery.

May 28 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of East 61st North. An employee said a transient had been harassing customers about mowing their yard. Officers spoke with the individual and gave him a ride to Newton.

May 28 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1700 block of East Ventnor to contact a resident for Wichita police. He did not find anyone at the house.

May 28 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. A woman possibly saw her husband's truck in the area, which made her nervous because there is a no-contact order in place. Officer checked the area but did not find the man. He also answered the calling party's questions.

May 28 — Officer Andrew Corlis checked the welfare of a woman in the 500 block of East 63rd North. She was not answering her phone after making a Facebook post about wanting someone to talk with. Officer contacted the woman who said she was fine and was just asleep.

May 28 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Andrew Corlis spoke with a woman at the station who wanted them to stand by while she tried to pick up her son at the same location where the father was. Officers checked the residence and told the woman the son was there with his father. Officers said since there was no court paperwork, this was a civil issue for custody.

May 28 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez assisted Valley Center police with a disturbance in the 7000 block of North Interurban. Two individuals were issued a uniform criminal complaint for battery.

May 28 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 6700 block of North I-135 with a traffic stop where the driver was arrested on multiple charges.

May 28 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a welfare check of an unknown man lying down in the street in the 10900 block of North Hillside. The man explained he was lying down because his hips hurt. EMS checked the man and transported him to Newton.

May 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell contacted an individual in the 200 block of East 53rd North about a courtesy accident report.

May 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell placed an orange sticker on a vehicle in the 5000 block of North Broadway until the vehicle could be picked up. The vehicle was the subject of an earlier car stop in which the driver was using a suspended license and was picked up by her daughter. The driver told officers it might be awhile before someone could pick up her vehicle.

May 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 2500 block of East Egret Flight Court and arrested a juvenile who ran away from the Wichita Children's Home earlier in the day. Diaz transported the juvenile back to the home.

May 27 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz, along with Valley Center police, blocked traffic for Sedgwick County Fire Department in the 7400 block of North Hillside. The fire investigator was waiting for the arson dog to arrive and check the residence, which was unoccupied, did not have any electricity or gas, and all the exterior doors were locked.

May 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 5700 block of north Broadway. It was false.

May 27 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to the 1400 block of East Cloverdale. The calling party reported a juvenile running away May 24 but returned today to get clothes. When she was not allowed to take any clothes, she left.

May 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6300 block of North West Parkview. He arrested Tandi Dunning for two Park City warrants, a Wichita warrant and an Ottawa County warrant.

May 27 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to domestic violence in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said her husband pulled her hair and pushed her. The husband admitted to putting his hands on her. They arrested Jason Childs on a charge of domestic battery.

May 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a report of a man with a backpack walking north in the 6600 block of North I-135. He did not find anyone on foot in the area.

May 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to disorderly conduct in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. The calling party said a resident played his music too loud and kept him awake. Officer spoke with the resident who agreed to keep the music turned down.

May 27 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green confirmed a stolen vehicle for Wichita police, who had contact with the vehicle and its owner. Officers cleared the vehicle as stolen.

May 27 — Officers Christopher Shields, Brandon Green and Tracey Prideaux responded to a disturbance in the 8100 block of North Hartman Arena Drive. The calling party reported a man punching someone. Officers circulated the area but did not locate the suspect's vehicle or the victim.

May 27 — Officer Christopher Shields and Tracey Prideaux responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party said her 16-year-old daughter made a mess and did not listen. Officer spoke with the calling party who said there was an argument over the phone. The juvenile said there wouldn't be any more issues tonight.

May 26 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz were dispatched to assist EMS in the 5000 block of Primrose Court. They were disregarded upon arrival.

May 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a non-injury accident on private property in the 900 block of East 61st North. A courtesy accident report was made.

May 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a resident who wanted to report a road rage incident May 25 in Park City. He would be in later today to file a report.

May 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with an individual on the phone at the station. The calling party received a phone call from someone who said his property, previously reported as stolen, would be returned sometime today.

May 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell reported a runaway juvenile was found by Wichita police and taken to the children's home.

May 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz provided traffic control for Sedgwick County sheriff working a suicide in the 1400 block of East 45th North.

May 26 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to the 6800 block of North Hydraulic where a member of the Highridge Homeowners Association was concerned about kids trespassing and swimming in the private pond. Officers told the kids they could not swim in the pond.

May 26 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report of a May 25 non-injury accident in the 6400 block of North Broadway.  

May 26 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields stopped a motorist for traffic violations in the 6200 block of North I-135. They arrested Zachry Ward for the traffic violations and a Park City warrant. Officers also arrested a passenger, Adam Jay, for two Wichita warrants.

May 26 — Officer Blake Sanchez responded to a reckless driver going west at 61st North and I-135. He was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

May 26 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Todd Langford and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The business wanted to trespass three men who were standing outside the gas station asking people for money. Offices spoke with the men and told them they were not to return because they were being trespassed.

May 26 — Officer Todd Langford and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted KHP with a pursuit that ended in the 6700 block of North Ridge Road. When the pursuit ended, officers provided traffic control. While providing traffic control, a vehicle drove up and almost hit several officers. Langford assisted a deputy with the traffic stop. The deputy arrested the driver on a charge of DUI.

May 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the theft of a Kansas trailer tag in the 4800 block of North Broadway.

May 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic where a woman reported her 16-year-old daughter ran away May 23.

May 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a disturbance in the 6000 block of North East Parkview. The calling party said her 8-year-old daughter was out of control, possibly because of a new prescription. Officer told the child she would behave. The mother would be taking her in for an evaluation.

May 25 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a larceny in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. The reporting party said an individual took approximately 60 oxycodone and 60 carisoprodol pills while he was out of the house. There was no evidence that the individual actually took the pills.

May 25 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to the 200 block of East 50th North where a public works employee reported damage to the street. A trail of hydraulic fluid from the damage led to a business in the area. Officers were unable to contact anyone at the business.

May 25 — Officers Tracey Prideaux, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields, along with officers from Kechi and Valley Center and Sedgwick County, responded to a disturbance in the 1200 block of East Charleston involving 20 people fighting in the street. Officers determined a juvenile was the instigator and hit two individuals.

May 25 — Officer Todd Langford and Sgt. Trent Johnson dropped off witness statements for employees to complete and drop off at the Sedgwick County Courthouse. Officers also received a copy of a surveillance video.

May 25 — Officers Todd Langford and Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle with no tag light in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle related to an active case. Officers identified the driver and the passengers, who were not wanted. Officers issued the driver a citation for multiple traffic violations.

May 25 — Officers Todd Langford and Blake Sanchez add Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle swerving in the 4700 block of North I-135. They found the passenger's door open with a man and his girlfriend who had gotten into an argument inside the vehicle. The driver admitted to having a couple of alcoholic beverages. After conducting field tests, officers arrested Tyler Haggard on a charge of DUI.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny in the 6900 block of North Broadway. The calling party said two men took five batteries from a business and went south on Broadway.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1100 block of East 61st North where a man had locked himself out of his house. His son arrived and unlocked the door.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a semitractor in a no parking zone in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The driver moved his truck.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell picked up a surveillance video relevant to a case in the 6900 block of North Broadway.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell returned a call to an individual who wanted to talk about past forgery cases in Park City and left a voicemail message.

May 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a juvenile runaway in the 2500 block of East Egret Flight. The mother said her son was mad and left the residence at 11:50 a.m. saying he was going to a friend's house. He was last seen at the library. Officer checked several areas but did not find the juvenile and entered him into the system as a runaway.

May 24 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green prepared a courtesy report for a private property accident in the 4800 block of North Broadway.

May 24 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green reported a juvenile runaway was found by Wichita police and taken to the Wichita Children's Home. He was cleared as a runaway.

May 24 — Officer Tracey Prideaux spoke with a resident in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party requested extra patrol, specifically on the Navajo Lakes side, because of concerns about groups of teenagers congregating and committing crimes.

May 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a larceny report from the 6200 block of North Broadway. The calling party said a man got an order from the deli and left it on a shelf. When told he would have to pay for the order, the man left the store.

May 24 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to a larceny in the 500 block of East 63rd North. An individual reported two checks were stolen and forged with a loss of $960. She also reported cashing two checks for a total of $730 that bounced. She received the checks from an individual for payment of a vehicle he bought from her.

May 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North where a resident reported his vehicle had been stolen.

May 24 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a traffic stop in the 900 block of East 53rd North.

May 24 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green reported the arrest of Sharronne Steele on a Park City warrant. Steele was already incarcerated on other charges.

May 24 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis responded to the 6500 block of North West Parkview where a resident said a former friend took her vehicle. The friend told officers all she did was get her belongings from the car and then left with her mom and sister. They spoke with the registered owner of the vehicle and explained what had happened. The owner did not want to press charges.

May 24 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by responding to an alarm in the 10900 block of North Hidden Creek. They saw the front door was open, cleared the house and found a locked hallway door. A deputy contacted the key holder, who said everything was OK. The key holder was in the house sleeping behind the locked door.

May 24 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis and Sgts. Keith Goodall and Trent Johnson responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The reporting party said a man had walked into the business two days in a row trying to return items without a receipt. The suspect asked the reporting party for a box. When the employee was getting a box, the suspect went behind the counter and took two cartons of cigarettes.

May 24 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Todd Langford and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a pickup truck in the 500 block of East 77th North with several pieces of scrap and cut copper tubing in the bed. The two individuals in the truck said they took the tubing from a dumpster in the 500 block of West 77th North. They thought it was necessary for them to return the tubing stuff before leaving Park City.

May 24 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis looked for three suspicious people walking around the neighborhood the past two days in the 6000 bock of North East Parkview. They did not find anyone walking around.

May 24 — Sgt. Trent Johnson reported the arrest of Phillip Jones on a Park City warrant by Sedgwick County sheriff.

May 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell asked Wichita police to check for a suspect, Dominic AL Shanklin, at his residence. Wichita police located Shanklin and transported him to the Sedgwick County jail where Trimmell booked him on a charge of domestic violence battery. Trimmell advised Harvey County Sheriff's Office that Shanklin was in jail.

May 23 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a larceny in the 6500 block of North Broadway. The reporting party said between May 19 and today someone stole about 10 aluminum radiators and tried to enter a shed, damaging the lock and door handle. Loss estimated at $500.

May 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff checked a residence in the 6100 block of North Independence for a juvenile runaway. The homeowner said she was not there and allowed officers to check his daughter's room. He said he would call 911 if the juvenile showed up.

May 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Wichita police by locating a wanted person at the McDonald's in the 5800 block of North Air Cap Drive. They transported the suspect to the Sedgwick County jail.

May 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a complaint of loud music playing at 6 a.m. in the 2400 block of East Gary. The resident said he does play music early in the morning when he gets up, but did not think it was that loud. Officers told him to keep the music turned down.

May 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1200 block of East Broadbeck where the calling party said her juvenile grandson was out of control. They arrested the juvenile on charges of battery and criminal damage to property,

May 23 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1400 block of East Cedar Tree to check for a runaway. He spoke with the runaway and released her to a parent. He advised records to remove her from the system.

May 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a parking complaint in the 6500 block of North Longmont. He contacted the vehicle's owner, who said he would have it moved.

May 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to a non-injury accident in the 5200 block of North Broadway.

May 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1700 block of East Ventnor where two women got into a physical altercation. They arrested Ashley Crawford and Tresa Matthews each on a charge of battery.

May 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of two worthless checks being passed in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

May 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party had an agreement to sell her vehicle but the buyer took the vehicle without paying for it. Officers entered the vehicle into the system as stolen.

May 23 — Officers Tracey Prideaux and Brandon Green served a uniform criminal complaint to a man in the 500 block of East 63rd North.

May 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an alarm in the 5500 block of North Chuzy Drive. It was false.

May 23 — Officers Todd Langford and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 900 block of East 61st North. They arrested Jonathan Denton on a charge of driving with a suspended license and for warrants from Sedgwick County and Wichita.

May 23 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Andrew Corlis and Todd Langford responded to a northbound vehicle in the southbound lanes of the 4500 block of North I-135. They did not find the vehicle.

May 23 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Andrew Corlis and Todd Langford assisted Wichita police by checking for a suspicious person parked behind a house under construction in the 5200 block of North Sullivan. The vehicle left prior to their arrival

May 22 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted EMS in the 1000 block of East Evanston.

May 22 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 900 block of East Connolly Court and checked a semitractor with a hazmat placard parked in the area for the last three days. He advised the trucking company unless the truck was making a local delivery, it was illegally parked. He also told the company that a public road is not for storage of its vehicles. The company said it would move the vehicle to the truck stop.

May 22 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an argument in the 1300 block of East Evanston. A woman caught a man trying to steal property from her home while they were moving the contents of the home into a U-Haul. She said the man left with a bag of items she did not want back and did not request prosecution.

May 22 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to an assault in the 900 block of East 61st North. A woman said her boyfriend bent her wrist backward, struck her in the ribs and left in her vehicle. The Harvey County Sheriff's Office responded to take a report of other domestic violence battery issues she said occurred there. The man refused to talk with officers.

May 22 — Officer Chuck Trimmell, Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Driver for a welfare check. A semitractor was parked at the truck stop with no one in the vehicle. The calling party said he had not heard from the owner in nearly a year. Burlington police went to the man's house to check his welfare. The man called in and advised he was OK. He had been off work due to a broken foot.

May 22 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to suspicious people in the 1200 block of East Village Estates. A homeowner called to report three individuals as trespassers for fishing in the homeowner's association pond. After one individual identified himself as a resident, the officer cleared the call.

May 22 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a reckless driver in the 7500 block of North I-135. The calling party said someone was throwing things from a speeding vehicle. Officer checked the area but did not find the vehicle.

May 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 6700 block of North Wendell. The people at the residence said everything was fine and were unaware 911 had been called.

May 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 2600 block of East Cambridge. A caller from Minnesota requested a welfare check after comments made by a resident during a phone conversation. Officers did not contact anyone at the house. They learned later the resident did not want to talk with them and was on the phone when they were there.

May 22 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious person in the 1800 block of East 53rd North. The calling party said a truck leaking natural gas from its trailer was parked in the lot. Officer told the calling party he had checked the vehicle previously. The driver was releasing liquid nitrogen pressure and would leave when he finished.

May 22 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 5100 block of North Irving where a resident reported the theft of her wallet. Officer determined the theft occurred in Valley Center and referred her to Valley Center police.

May 22 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1000 block of East 61st North where a woman reported getting into an altercation with her ex-husband. Officers found no evidence of a crime.

May 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall checked three men walking south in the 4800 block of North Hydraulic. One of them was walking in the road, but did not want any assistance.

May 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a suspicious person in the 900 block of East 45th North.

May 22 — Officers Todd Langford, Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez checked the welfare of a man reported crying and walking in the 6400 block of North West Parkview. The man said he got into an argument with a friend after drinking and left the house. He became lost and disoriented. Officers gave him a ride to his friend's home.

May 22 — Officers Todd Langford, Andrew Corlis and Blake Sanchez and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a larceny in the 1200 block of East Arlington. The reporting party said a known suspect stole his cellphone from his porch. The suspect, who lives in Derby, randomly came over and took the phone. Officers called the phone but it went to voicemail. They entered the phone into the system as stolen.
