Five on all-league soccer’s first team By The News staff Last Updated: June 01, 2017 Five Valley Center High School soccer players were named first-team All-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League II in postseason honors announced last week. One was named the league's co-player of the year, while two others received second-team nods. Seniors Ariel Wolf and Jadyn Eddy were first-team defenders. Junior Emma Girtz was first-team midfield. Senior Sammy Boese was first-team forward. Senior Bethany Reeves was first-team goalkeeper and was co-player of the year with Eisenhower midfielder Tera Lynch. Sophomore Emily Breault was named to the second team as a midfielder, while junior Sydney Martens was second-team forward. The Hornets finished the season with a 10-5-1 record. Their final game was against Maize in the regional championship. |
