Officers find car used in gas theft
By Chris Strunk
Last Updated: March 23, 2017

Good luck for the officers; bad luck for the driver.

On March 15, Park City police were called to assist Hesston police by checking an address in the 6300 block of North West Parkview, where a vehicle involved in a gas drive-off in Hesston was thought to be parked.

Park City police did not locate any vehicles around the residence.

Later that night, Park City officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the 6200 block of North Air Cap. The vehicle turned out to be the one involved in the gas theft in Hesston. The driver denied the allegations, police said, but was later confronted with a surveillance photo.

Park City officers forwarded the case to Hesston police.
