Blotter Buzz Last Updated: February 23, 2017 Feb. 12 — Valley Center Officer J.C. Kirk responded to found property at Meadow and Interurban. Two booster seats and some clothing were found in the middle of the street. It appeared the items were taken out of a vehicle and placed in the road. Officer checked the area for vehicles with open doors and did not locate any. A found property report was made until a possible burglary is reported. Feb. 12 — Valley Center Officer J.C. Kirk responded to a report of battery at 6325 N. Sullivan. An altercation between a woman and her son's grandparents. A woman said a goose bit her so she kicked the goose. A man slapped the woman's face, causing a bloody nose, because she kicked the goose. Feb. 9 — Valley Center Officer Erik Nygaard responded to 311 E. Sixth. The reporting party said he smelled an odd odor inside his house and wanted officers to check it out. He also wanted EMS to check his heart rate. No odd odor was detected, officer said. EMS and fire evaluated the reporting party. |
