Police reports

Feb. 12 — Officer J.C. Kirk responded to suspicious people at 556 W. Main. Two people were sitting near the vehicles in the parking lot for a long time. They said they wanted to speak to the owner about purchasing a vehicle. The owner wasn't there, so they left a letter on the door.

Feb. 12 — Officer J.C. Kirk went en route to an injury accident at 101st and Broadway. It turned out to be an accident at Jeep's Motorcycle Club. Park City police handled the call.

Feb. 12 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of North Park. The calling party said a neighbor was playing loud music. No music was heard in the area.

Feb. 12 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a report of a suspicious character at Fifth and Meridian. The calling party said a minivan was in the middle of the road driving away slowly. The van was not found.

Feb. 11 — Officer Sara Schaller responded to a report of a suspicious character at the Valley View Apartment complex. The calling party said a man in a black car was hanging around the parking lot for more than 30 minutes, watching children and making residents feel uncomfortable. The car was found about an hour later and was stopped. The driver said he was trying to meet at the apartments someone he met online, but he never made contact with the person. He was advised to not return to the area.

Feb. 11 — Officer Sara Schaller assisted a motorist whose trailer came loose in the 1300 block of South Meridian.

Feb. 11 — Officer Sara Schaller assisted on an injury accident in the 6500 block of North Seneca.

Feb. 11 — Officer Sara Schaller took a report of a battery at Valley Center High School, 9600 N. Meridian. The incident occurred on Feb. 10 after school.

Feb. 11 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to an alarm at the Dollar Store, 220 E. Ford. The building was cleared and nothing appeared missing or out of place.

Feb. 11 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted Sedgwick police.

Feb. 10 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to a disturbance at 749 N. Redbud.

Feb. 10 — Officer Eric Leeker took a report of a bike theft at 332 N. Burns.

Feb. 10 — Officer Eric Leeker assisted the fire department at 311 E. Sixth.

Feb. 10 — Officer Erik Nygaard responded to a burglary at 7351 N. Interurban. An unknown suspect climbed a fence and got into two semis parked on the property. The suspect took two wireless printers, two power converters, two truck keys and a garage door opener.

Feb. 9 — Officer Sara Schaller took a report of fraud. A woman reported that someone stole her identity and banking information to open a Sprint account and purchase four devices.

Feb. 9 — Officer Sara Schaller released personal property to an individual at the station, 616 E. Fifth.

Feb. 9 — Officer Sara Schaller assisted EMS at 604 N. Redbud. A woman was taken to St. Francis Hospital with chest pains.

Feb. 9 — Officer Erik Nygaard assisted Park City police on a disturbance with shots fired at 400 E. 61st North. A man was arrested after allegedly firing several rounds inside of his truck in the parking lot.

Feb. 8 — Officers Sara Schaller, Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk responded to a disturbance at New Hope Services, 821 W. Third Terrace. A staff member reported being assaulted. Samantha Henderson was arrested on a charge of battery.

Feb. 8 — Officers Sara Schaller, Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk took a report of vandalism at Farm Bureau, 111 S. Abilene. Someone threw a rock through a window at the business.

Feb. 8 — Officers Sara Schaller, Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk assisted EMS with a medical incident at the station, 616 E. Fifth. A man was brought to the station by a friend after he collapsed at work. The patient was taken to St. Francis Hospital.

Feb. 8 — Officer Ryan Mumma stood by to prevent a disturbance at 222 S. Meridian.

Feb. 7 — Officers Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk assisted the sheriff's office in attempting to locate a wanted person at 126 S. Colby. No contact was made with the person.

Feb. 7 — Officers Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk assisted EMS at 126 N. Burns. The calling party said a 76-year-old woman was exhibiting signs of a stroke. EMS took the woman to the hospital.

Feb. 7 — Officers Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk took a report at the station, 616 E. Fifth. The reporting party said someone had been using her bank information. Pictures were submitted to a case file.

Feb. 7 — Officers Ceara Metzger and J.C. Kirk responded to New Hope Services at 821 W. Third Terrace. Staff reported that a resident of New Hope made threatening comments. The resident was found and taken to St. Joseph Hospital for evaluation.

Feb. 7 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 5209 E. 77th North. The calling party wanted to make a report about his neighbor's dogs running around the block. The address was not in the city limits of Valley Center, so the report was turned over to sheriff's deputies.

Feb. 7 — Officer Ryan Mumma responded to an alarm at 700 S. Abilene. The alarm was deemed false.

Feb. 7 — Officer Ryan Mumma signed off on a fix-it ticket at the station, 616 E. Fifth.

Feb. 7 — Officer Jeremy Manning responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 122 S. Birch. The dispute was over property. Officers arrived on scene as both parties were leaving the area.

Feb. 6 — Officer Ceara Metzger performed a welfare check at 227 N. Meridian as a follow-up on a call from the previous week.

Feb. 6 — Officer Jeremy Manning assisted EMS at 501 W. Main. A resident pushed a medical emergency button by accident. It was a false alarm.

Feb. 6 — Officer Jeremy Manning assisted EMS at 434 N. Colby. Officer was released from the scene once EMS arrived.

Feb. 6 — Officer Jeremy Manning picked up evidence from 1850 W. 69th North and took it to the station.
