The average price for a gallon of gas in the Wichita fell 1.3 cents during the past week, averaging $2.15 on Jan. 22. The national average fell 3.2 cents to $2.30, according to GasBuddy.com. Call 755-0821. … The Reserve Bureau of the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office conducted a seatbelt saturation patrol from 6 to 10 p.m. Jan. 20 in an effort to decrease the number of unrestrained drivers. As a result, three reserve deputies initiated 15 traffic stops and issued 13 traffic citations. There were also five warnings issued. Additionally, one person was arrested on drug related charges. This saturation patrol was staffed entirely by reserve deputies of the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office. ... The Valley Center Historical Museum will be open Jan. 28.
