Information on dead horse sought By The News staff Last Updated: January 26, 2017 Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the possible owner of an emaciated horse found dead in rural Valley Center last week. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death, but have no leads on who may have left the horse on the side of the road near 85th and Rock Road. The horse was discovered Jan. 18. "Its condition would indicate some type of neglect," said Lt. Lin Dehning with the sheriff's office. "… If anybody knows who dumped that horse there, we would want to talk to them." |
