Highlights Last Updated: November 17, 2016 Wheatland Elementary School Spirit Day "When I Grow Up" will be held on Nov. 18. Valley Center High School musical will start at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19. Valley Center High School winter sports pictures will start at 8 a.m. Nov. 19 at the main gym. Valley Center chess will compete Nov. 19 at the Wichita Scholastic Chess Club. Valley Center schools will be closed for Thanksgiving break Nov. 23 through 25. Wheatland Elementary School PTO Meeting and Site Council will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 29. Valley Center school district winter community chili feed will start at 6 p.m. Nov. 30 at the high school. Abilene Elementary School third-grade music program will start at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the high school, and the fourth-grade program will start at 7:30. Valley Center High School choir and brass band will attend the Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at McLaughlin Park on Dec. 2. Valley Center High School KMEA SC District Band, Orchestra and Choir event will be held at Wichita East High School Dec. 3 through 5. |
